“Great location”

On our trip we stayed twice at this hotel. The staff on the reception desk spoke good english and were very helpful. The location is perfect being near all the shops, bars and old quarter. It is also only a short walk to the ferries for the off-shore Islands. Our rooms were clean and of a reasonable standard and everything worked in them. The buffet breakfast was of a good standard and with plenty of choice. I would definitely stay there again if I visited Vigo and it was ecellent value for money.

Area recommendations
The central shopping area is good for fashionable items and the whole centre area is well catered for with excellent restaurants and bars. The old quarter is well worth a visit and has a lovely atmosphere in the evenings. Good for a stroll and stops for tapas. The Island of Cien is a must-see and only 30 minutes away on the ferries. Its beaches are pristine and the Island has plenty of walks through the densely wooded interior. We saw a very good and clean campsite just behind the main beach. There is also a lovely and relaxed nudist beach which was enjoyed by both naturalists and the more bashful. Excellent place for photo opportunities with the Island having a mixture of dramatic cliff tops, beaches and wooded scenary to capture. The main large beach is well worth its claim to be possible the best beach in the world.
