Gorgeous hotel. Paradise within paradise! Would definitely recommend and return. Cons - There was a concert nearby with an after party at the hotel. Crowd was a little rowdy. Housekeeping management was also not polite. Received a call that they couldn't deliver our extra blankets (that we never called for) since the do not disturb sign was on the door. When I said that we never requested the blankets rather than apologize and hang up the woman insisted that we had since the call was registered from our room. That was completely untrue and caused me to check our closets for intruders. Unprofessional behavior and we complained to management. Then coincidentally our room was not on the list for housekeeping the following day. We left at 8 am and returned at 2pm to a messy room.
I am Allens Step Daughter he paid for this trip , my first stay here but Allen has staid here many times and recomended this hotel to me , the visit was very nice the staff was very polite and helpful in all my needs were met
"A very pleasant and interesting hotel in a good lo"
The Manoa Valley Inn has quite a history. The present owners have done a good job of restoring and maintaining
the building and gardens. They have also added authentic furnishings which keep the historic background of the
mansion and gardens intact. Each room is carefully decorated and is unique. It is the real deal! As a guest you
feel like you have traveled back in history. The gardens are very lush and add to the beauty of the mansion. A special treat for guests is the hidden swimming pool surrounded by the flowering trees and bushes.
The delicious breakfast/brunch served on the veranda is another high point to the visit. The protected outdoor
surroundings add to the feeling of enjoying your own mansion on a leisurely morning. I'm talking about a full
on breakfast with something for everyone. The kitchen staff will also cook "to order" items including special pancakes! I wish I lived closer to the Manoa Valley Inn!
I have been staying at the Pagoda whenever I visit the islands for the past 10 or so years. From the minute I speak with the Front Desk to the Housekeeping Crew, I totally enjoy my stay. Everyone is always so pleasant willing to do what they can to make my stay comfortable. Mahalo!
