“Enjoyed the Hotel”
Wonderful experience. Luxurious hotel with attentive and helpful staff.
“excellent hotel”
lovely hotel. Staff were very helpfull and polite. The food was very good. In the 180 degree restaurant, however, it felt at times as though you were eating in a canteen due to the buffet. Again, the food and staff could not be faulted; It's just that I got a little fed up of people walking past my table. The best solution to this is to book a table at one of the other restaurants. Here you will find an a la carte menu and waiter service, for no extra cost. La Faya was my personal favourite, where you can dine al fresco, overlooking the Indian Ocean. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would not hestitate to recommend this hotel.
“Very Impressed”
We would recommend this hotel to all our friends.
“Excellent hotel with super beach , very kind staff, rich breakfast & dinner possibilites”
Super hotel! It is located in a very nice area with super beach, close to Pamlemousses Garden (can be reached by bycicle in an hour). The hotel has several free activities organized for the guests (snorkelling, kayaking, bycicling, yoga, etc). I have tried these ones and were really fun and safe. The room was quite big and clean (it was checked minimum 2 times a day by the cleaning staff). There are 3 restaurants: If you are on halfboard you can choose which one to have dinner in, you just need to reserve 1/ 180 degrees : buffet dinner with different daily menu- with very good shef 2/ Shell restaurant: it was our favourite with excellent seafood, 3/ Indian restaurant (we have not tried) and 4/ Lafaya (kind of mediterran).
“Everything we wanted it to be.”
What a great holiday. We went in July their winter as it was for our 25th Wedding Anniversary the hotel made it very special. We had some rain (very little really) but the weather was lovely I think the summer would of been to hot. The hotel was lovely food very good we ate most evenings in the 180 dinning room as there was always something different & the standard was very good. The staff at the hotel are some of the nicest people I have ever meet and also the people who live on the Island are so nice freindly & helpful. The water sports are all free but I would recomend if you like to have a drink you must go all inclusive as they are very expensive. We hired bikes from the hotel & had a great time as it is very flat & the traffic was no problem.
“Great!”
We stayed 9 days and it was great! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We did diving with the dive center and Jonathan and the whole crew there made it fun and enjoyable. We stayed in the adult area and it was nice and relaxing with a great bar by the pool. Bartenders Sahil and Vik are the best! We can not wait to go back!
“A nice slice of Nirvana”
Overall the staff were keen to please but the language barrier often caused some confusion. We also need to have some written instructions on arrival rather than verbal as we were very tired from our flight and not really comprehending all the info so had to revisit reception on a number of occasions to clarify. There was a delay in check in however we were provided with complimentary drinks with dinner to make amends. Our accommodation was delightful in the Nirvana area and food was always good. We were disappointed that some children were booked into the Nirvana restaurant (as this was not supposed to be the case, however they were well behaved. The Le Faya restaurant was very good. We also noticed that some guests from the general part of the resort came and saved pool lounges around the Nirvana pool early and reduced the opportunity for the Nirvana guests to obtain a pool side lounge - needs to be monitored better. Concierge services were also excellent - organising for us to attend the Maruritius Races - great day! Facilities are excellent and overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to both couples and families
“Nice hotel but technological not.”
Everything was as expected except that when booked, I was under the impression that we were half-board, that breakfast and dinner was included. When we arrive, only breakfast was included, The stay was very nice. The other problem was when I needed to do a very important bank transfer, the business internet was very slow, and I was not able to complete the transaction, it might been as the Seacom cable was not working, but satellite Internet would have solved the problem. Pity the deal was not concluded.
“Relaxing hotel for all”
Lovely hotel, great staff and service. The only thing that lets this hotel down is the price of the food and drink - they are absolutely extortionate, and really need to be reviewed.
“Good 4 star hotel with good beach view and services”
We got the all inclusive package, and can eat and drink most items for free. Make sure you get the all inclusive deal if available, as drinks are quite expensive, and you only get water in room on check in. Room facilities are in line with 4 star -- not as good as a 5 star hotel but ok on the whole. Rooms are quite spacious though. Hotel facilities are good. There are 4 restaurants and 4 bars, pool, spa, boat house, diving centre, jetty, etc. We will be going back in the future.
