Just when you think you have had the worst experiences hotels have to offer, and that no experience will shock you again, you can go to the Minneapolis metro area to be disappointed further. Not only does the entire metro area smell of a skunk's butt, but the hotels always seek to lower the bar. Why in the world would a hotel think it is a good idea to host a loud party through the night? People come to hotels for one primary reason -- to SLEEP. Yet this hotel had a wedding reception that lasted through midnight, with loud music vibrating the windows. In addition, despite having a reservation, they placed me right across from this party. When I asked if the party was going to be a problem in my room, they assured me it would be fine, as I was on the other side of the courtyard...well the party was blasting into the courtyard right to my room. I had been working and driving all day, and my family and I needed rest to be up early the next morning to continue our travels. I won't get into the condition of the room which had supposedly just been painted, that still smelled of paint, and looked like someone put paint on a roller, made three swipes over the door, then called it done, or the masking tape left all over the place for you to step on. Thanks, Ramada, for showing that a new low can always be set.
