We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel, due to the locality, attentive and helpful staff and the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel and Madrid. We will definitely return and use this hotel company on our future travels.
Thank you to all the staff
"Amazing views and so close to Madrid city centre"
I really loved staying at this hotel. I arrived at 01.00 and there was still a member of staff to greet me as I came in. My room had the most amazing view of the royal palace, I stared out of my window for a long time. The room was clean and the bathroom was a good size, I would say that you might need an extra pillow. The staff were faultless too, an amazing team.
Our room was on the 9th floor with lovely view of Royal Palace, it was clean the bed was comfertable, the kitchen was basic and had no kettle, no english speaking prorammes on fairly large flat screen TV. Wifi which we had to pay for was a bit intermittent

Hotel is close to main sights. Rather soulless hotel, more three stars than four. Clean and tidy in all areas although there is only a small seating area in reception and no bar open to relax in after a day sight seeing. Fine for a short stay .... a sort of old fashioned premier inn really just somewhere to sleep
We were ready for an unimpressive hotel front due to the TripAdvisor review, and likewise we were pleased with the clean and spacious room and the convenient location for the major central-Madrid attractions. We were walking distance from many and a Metro stop was 100 meters from the hotel door.
Hotel is good as 3 star not 4 star, campare as comfort suits in U.S.
bad is not good, I did not have breakfast, but it's close to lots of restaurants, train station & hop off & on bus stop. Bed is not very comfort.

We have group of 7 people. Booked the largest apartment at Woo Homtel de Oriente. 5 of us stayed there. The room was very clean. For 5 people, that's spacious apartment for hotel. All the appliance work - dish washer / washing machine / refrigerator / range and oven. All the dishes / utensils were clean. Great when you have family with kids that needs a lot of washing. We had a room with queen size bed. There were 2 bunk beds for 4 people. There were actually a sofa that pulls out to be a queen size bed - which we didn't need to use. Cleaning is once every 5 days - so don't expect the room to be clean daily. That's fine with us as we were all adults. The hot water heater was small. We had to plan our showers strategically. Location is great - walking distance to Mercado Miguel (really expensive) and Plaza Mayor (more reasonable price restaurant). Right across the street from Royal Palace. There are two metro within 10 minutes of leisure walk from the hotel - Metro Plaza Espanza and Principio. If you are going out, turn right to catch metro at the Principio metro station as it's a easy 10 minutes walk downhill. If you are coming back to the hotel, stop at the Metro Plaza Espenza as it's a easy 10 minutes downhill walk. It's about 10 minutes walk to the Gran Via.

At the western end of the arterial Gran Via, Plaza de España is home to Franco-era architecture like the monstrous red and white Edificio España. The nearby Palacio Real (royal palace) was rebuilt in 1764 and is still used for state functions. It contains some wonderfully ornate rooms and is free on Wednesdays to EU citizens (take your passport). Admire the statues in the lovely Sabatini Gardens afterwards.
