Getting there was an experience, all to really blame on the GPS that took us into the mountains instead of the hotel, but that is another story. When we finally arrived our room was on the 2nd floor facing the street. That would not have been a big deal, until we did not see any air-conditioning controls. We called the main desk and the response was that it gets cool at night and therefore no need for one. Well the street noise travels at night and echoed into the room, no overhead fan to move the outside cool air into the stuffy room.
We checked out the following morning.

This lovely, family run hotel is set in a pretty, small village only 2 Km from the coast and Cudillero.
It was one of the nicest hotels we stayed at during a 3 week tour of Northern Spain. The house used to be a family tailoring business and is full of pictures and items related to its history.Patricia gave us such a warm and friendly welcome and the evening meal we had was the best meal we had had in 3 weeks in Spain
Very pleasant hotel. More difficult to find off the new section of the E70 - could be more sign posts. Ample parking included. Lift for those who need it. Two restaurants nearby and more in Cudillero. Quiet stay in attic room which was very pleasant. WIFI bit patchy. Best not pay for breakfast in advance in pounds - much cheaper to pay on the day in euros - worth having ! A very nice example of a sympathetically renovated " Indianos " mansion. Beats modern hotels hands down for character.

Lovely rooms, wonderful dinner (had the Menu del Dia). Extremely efficient waitress in dining room and excellent chef. Reception helpful. Plenty of parking. Only complaint is that although we had free spa they wanted 10 Euros for two caps to use it|
