The room was great. Very modern, clean and confortable. The staff were very friendly and cordial. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone. Please make sure you try the Ethiopian restaurant located below the hotel. The food was excellent.
Great old house turned into a hotel. Clean room and very helpful, polite staff. The room we had was small. Really small. That didn't bother the 2 of us since we don't need much, but I could see some people having a problem with it. No more than 2 people. Seriously. Don't even try. Parking was also a tad tricky. You can't park on certain streets on certain sides at certain times. All streets seem to differ so be wary of signs. Decent location, though. Short walk or drive to everything. Would definitely stay again. One more thing, if you have problems climbing stairs you may want to opt for another place. There are quite a lot of them. Most uneven.

"Very nice small hotel/inn in a lovely neighborhood"
We enjoyed our 4 night stay in this lovely hotel/inn across from Prac La Fontaine. The bed was comfortable, the staff very pleasant and accommodating and the breakfast quite good with more options than we expected. We loved being outside of the "high" tourist area yet close enough to walk to many sites or take the Metro (there were choices for nearby stops). A great choice!

This is not a five star hotel but the staff were super friendly and it is clean and located close to Old Montreal and all the shopping along St. Catherine Street. If you are in Montreal then this is a good place to stay.

Nice hotel in a convenient location. Close to Bixi bikes which were helpful for getting to the old port faster than walking. Parking, breakfast and WIFI were all included, which was very appealing to us.
Plateau Mont-Royal, northeast of the downtown Montreal area, is bordered by St-Joseph Boulevard, Sherbrooke Street, Papineau Avenue, and St-Urbain Street. Considered one of the most bohemian neighborhoods in Montreal with a lively art scene, the Quartier Mode where local designers have set up shop, and green spaces for picnics. Enjoy international cuisine from the area's numerous restaurants.
