Lots of great tavernas and restaurants in the area, as well as many other sites. We liked the room and thought the staff were especially helpful, friendly and professional. The breakfast is fantastic and generous. The view from the Roof Terrace restaurant is unique and breathtaking. We look forward to our next visit soon.
When you arrive in the room, you will see a packet of savouries, crisps, two packs of nuts which you think it is complimentary as it is left near to the kettle. Don't be deceived by this , they are chargeable and quite expensive. We only realised it after the first day. It should have been kept on the top of the fridge(there is space in the cabinet).
Very well situated hotel if you are interested in the tourism in Athens. It is only 3 streets away of the beautiful neighborhood in Plaka and of course you can visit all important monuments in the acropolis and its museum.
This hotel has a treasure hidden. in its 6th floor there is a restaurant/bar with a astonishing view over Plaka and the Acropolis. do not miss it!

For two students visiting athens for the first time, this was perfect! The rooms were pretty basic but very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was really nice too. Overall great little hotel!
amazing way to finish off our vacation in Greece with a stay at a great hotel. the staff was amazing with us. because we had an early check out (5 am), Anastasia at the front desk arranged for us to have a snack pack for our morning flight. very much appreciated with small kids :).... the location was ideal. the room was quite big and spacious and very clean. the only draw back was that there was no curtain separating the tub and the rest of the room, but honestly it wasn't even an issue. would certainly stay again... thanks for a wonderful experience in Athens. see you soon
"Great location, close to shops, metro, buses, food"
The check-in was quick. Our room was on the 5th floor with a very nice patio and great view of the Acropolis. Very clean room and housekeeping was very thorough. Safe neighborhood within walking distance of the metro, bus stops, shops and tavernas. The Wifi signal was good. The owner and manager were helpful, although lacked some genuineness that we found in other areas of the islands, but maybe that was some of the big city influence. We stayed 4 nights and had a very nice stay. The breakfasts in the town are much better than the hotel breakfast. We tried the hotel breakfast one morning and it was good, but not great. Overall, very happy with the hotel for our stay and sightseeing accessibility.

Excellent position, just 10 minute walk to Syntagma Square. Rooms and linens are very tired. Breakfast can be very monotonous if staying for more than a few days. Hard boiled egg, half a tinned peach, a bread roll and an assortment of bread sticks & spreads every day. An OK hotel for a few days if you're intent on site seeing as much as possible. Just use it as a crash pad & it's not bad.

Quaint and touristy, Athens’ oldest residential quarter sits in the shadow of the Acropolis. Plaka’s narrow cobbled streets are lined with bougainvillea-clad neoclassical mansions, souvenir shops and pseudo-traditional tavernas, some with live music. A village atmosphere prevails, despite the crowds. Close to all the top sights, it makes the best base for a short stay.
