“Great”
Brand New room renovation
“THE PLACE TO STAY FOR STEELER GAMES”
ALL GREAT BUT GET TO BREAKFAST EARLY WHAT A MAD HOUSE.
“DIRTY SHEETS”
This hotel did not change the bedsheets and pillow cases from the last overnight guest. Disgusting. The front desk "supervisor" was more interested in chatting it up on the phone and with other people while guests waited in line. There was little or no other staff members present. AVOID
“very impressed”
hotel was everything we expected and more
“The place to stay if you're going to PNC Park”
If you are going to PNC to see your team play the Pirates, this is the place to stay. We paid a little more for the convenience of being right across the street from the ballpark but it was worth it! The room was nice and the front desk hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room had 2 queen beds and a small but separate living room. The free shuttle took us to the famous Primanti Bros restaurant and also to the Rivers casino so we never had to take the car out of the parking lot. Parking is an extra $18/day however. We will stay here when we come back next year.
“PNC Park Hotel of Choice”
In town for a Pirates weekend series - fantastic location, comfortable rooms, great front desk service (provided battery jump after too much tailgating strain on the truck), and directly across the street from PNC Park. In fact, I saw a few of the Pirates players were staying there that weekend, as well.
“Football Headquarters at a Great Price!”
We stayed at Springhill Suites for a Steelers game and were very impressed. The location is perfect for football and baseball games, and the price was very good in comparison to other hotels for it being the week leading up to Christmas and a football weekend. The location, of course, was not ideal for downtown or South Shore activities. The rooms were comfortable and well designed. The continental breakfast was very good, and the hotel seemed very clean. The hotel bar/restaurant was also very nice considering the size of the hotel.
“Making plans for a return”
I'll BE BACK
“Location...”
Picked hotel for proximity to North Shore attractions. Perfect or walking to any game or a short cab to the Arena for hockey. Walkable to downtown on a nice day, but when winter comes you may want to "cab it". We took free shuttle into town with no issues. Many bars and restaurants arond ( though many are closed completely or for teh night when there is no game in town. Though "Finnegans Wake" is always open and a good place to go. literally 50 yards away.
“Weekend in Pittsburgh”
The hotel was very nice with a shuttle to the casino also provided. However, the road construction made it very difficult to get around in the city.
