“Awesome Stay”

I stayed here for four nights over Thanksgiving day weekend and I loved it. The room was comfortable and very nice, the common areas downstairs were opulent and gorgeous, and the service was great. I have nothing bad to say about the hotel at all. The restaurant was very good and there is a Starbucks inside the hotel (which was very convenient for me). Room service was quick (though with a steep service charge--though this is to be expected). The hotel is about two minutes off the highway so there isn't too much downtown driving required which is very nice. Overall, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay somewhere on the upscale side.

Dining
I had one of the best meals of my life at Isabella on Grandview. The overlook of the city is gorgeous and the food was spectacular-- it's about five minutes from the hotel over the Liberty Bridge.

“Very satisfied”

Service was very good and the room was very clean and nicely proportioned. The hotel is old, well-built, and recently renovated very effectively. The lobby area was impressive, particularly the decorative ceiling. The exercise room was terrific: ample space, excellent equipment, plenty of towels, and very clean. I wish that the internet service was free. Parking across the street from the main entrance was convenient.

“Step back in time with all the ementies of the future.”

Room was a little small but well appointed. Service was good and location was excellent. Staff friendly and accomidating. Great selection of resturants both in hotel and close by. Good fitness center on ground level. Would go back, enjoyed the downtown adventure.

“Downtown Elegance”

In an era of look-alike lodgings, the Omni William Penn stands our as an elegant, friendly, guest-cenetered hotel. From the inviting public spaces to the plush guest rooms, this hotel is more than a home away from home. The hotel is walking-distance close to major corporate headquarters, sports and cultural venues, and some of Pittsburgh's best restaurants.

“Pittsburgh”

Generally well appointed hotel with classical looks. Minor problem with alarm clock volume adjustment not working and set on too loud.

“Great hotel, bad restaurant”

2nd stay at the William Penn, great, beautiful hotel with first class service. I thought something was quite wrong with the restaurant after my first visit. I thought I would give them a second chance. It's not me, it's them!! Two separate visits for breakfast and dinner. 4 star hotel, 1 star restaurant on all accounts. Boring, bland, unimaginative food, clueless waitstaff. So-so atmosphere, even the drinks aren't great. Nice place to stay, but GET OUT to dine!
