“Exceptional Hotel”
This hotel provided excellent quality of service, enjoyed it very much.
“Great place”
This hotel was close to (walking distance) to all our destinations. Great restaurant (Sonoma).
“Would absolutely stay there again!”
The room was very comfortable and clean. My only complaint is that the window sills were dusty! That's it. The shower was great and they typically aren't in hotels. We didn't use the room service. It was expensive and not kid friendly. Lot of places to eat locally, so we didn't need it. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
“Flawless”
Spent 2 nights on business. Great clean rooms with high ceilings which is rare. It looks like the lobby has been upgraded with an open contemporary look. Even though I had a 4th floor room facing the street I had no issues with street noise. Recommended.
“Pleasantly pleased”
This turned out to be an excellent hotel. The rooms were updated and clean with pleanty of room. There was a restaurant downstairs that was excellent and convenient. The location is good if you want to be in the middle of the city. The staff were pleasant and very helpful.
“Can't wait to visit again.”
Everything went right for us from the start. As soon as we pulled up to the hotel we were promptly greeted by the valet. Once at the desk the staff was very nice and helpful with information about the city. Our room was great accept for the view we had, the courtyard, however our friends room down the hall had a very cool view of the city. When we go back to Pittsburgh for another Steelers game we will stay here.
“Good hotel, great city”
I love Pittsburgh and you can't beat the Marriott Courtyard for location. (Though I could say the same for several others: Westin, William Penn, Doubletree, Renaissance.) Our room was very comfortable, and nearby dining options are excellent. The only sour note was the hotel's electronic key system. It does not work properly...it always took a dozen or so tries before we could find the "sweet spot," and a neighboring guest remarked that he had the same trouble. Fix it.
“Nice”
The hotel is in good shape and very comfortable. A little pricey for the area, but clean. Valet parking is a little inconvenient and a little pricey, but you really have no choice. I would stay here again!
“Worked great for downtown business”
I was in town for a morning meeting downtown Pittsburgh. I walked to the meeting, then came back to the hotel to check out and get to the airport - very convenient. Hotel was very nice, staff helpful. The floors upstairs squeaked a little bit underfoot in the hallway, reminding me this was a refurbished older building, rather than a concrete palace - kind of nice. I ate in the italian restuarant in the lobby, which was great, but there were also a number of other restaurants close by. Overall a nice experience.
“Pittsburgh Marriott”
The hotel staff was pleasant. They have someone their to greet and open the doors as you arrive. They can bill all purchases to the room, which was convenient. They also delivered a free newspaper every morning. Free internet, and printing as well.
