“Would go back to this hotel anytime”

Hotel has been recently renovated. Room smelled a bit when we walked in, and quickly realized it was the new carpet smell, we got used to it after a few minutes and didn't notice it upon the next return to the room. The staff were very friendly and helped us with directions to get around some of the construction in downtown pittsburgh. This is a small hotel, does not offer a lot of amenities (no pool), but if you are looking for a comfy, clean place to sleep and shower, then this is it! Breakfast was half-way decent, except the coffee left something to be desired.

“Great place, lousy 'neighbors'”

Overall, the stay was nice, however, there was a party going on in the room next to us until 1 a.m. and we could hear EVERYTHING. Aside from that, this is the second time we've stayed here. Staff is very friendly, found the DVD cable for our room in their storage room when we asked (thanks!). Whirlpool tub was very nice. Grounds are well kept, same with rooms.

“GREAT Place to stay for a ballgame.”

We stayed at the Comfort Inn Pittsburgh on a Wednesday night...when we arrived we found that there was FREE beer from 5PM-7PM Mon-Thurs. Needless to say, we won't be staying anywhere else during the week EVER in Pittsburgh. The front desk were super helpful in getting to the ballpark and telling us places to park down there for cheap. Also...Wednesdays are $1 hot dog night in Pittsburgh...so all in all it was a good trip. The room was clean, the breakfast was fairly good for a continental breakfast and the staff was nice. No complaints here!

“exceeded expectations”

We chose this hotel because it was fairly close to famiy we were visiting. The hotel exceeded our expectations: our room was large, with a sofa as well as king bed, and with fridge and microwave. The free internet access was much appreciated. Our room was on the back side of the hotel and was very quiet; the front rooms are quite close to the road. Although the breakfast area is small, it seems to be adequate, and the breakfast was quite good, with waffles. Direct access to the front door from the parking lot is rather steep. The biggest negative is the difficulty of making left turns into the parking area from Steubenville Pike. At the rate we paid, this hotel was a real bargain!

“Worth the $ in Pittsburgh”

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Easy to find. A lot of reviews said it was difficult to find the hotel; however both my gps and my cell phone picked it up. It might be more difficult on a map, but who uses those any more. Very close to downtown Pittsburgh

“Treated well!!!”

When I arrived to the hotel the desk attendant was very friendly and helped me get to where I needed to go for dinner and helped me figure out how much time I needed to get into downtown. The room was exceptionally clean with plenty of towels and things I needed for a good nights rest. Woke up in the morning to more attendants whom were very friendly and treated me WELL!!!

“Good Location”

My wife and I stayed here for weekend. We came to town for a Steelers game. Overall I would highly reccomend this hotel. The location was convenient, only 15 minutes from downtown. There is a beer distribuitor about 30 seconds away, and there is also a Primanti Bros' about 30 seconds away (great place to watch college or pro games). It's also located about 10 minutes from a HUGE shopping area, with an IKEA. The Breakfast was solid, including waffles, toast, muffins, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, juice, coffe, & milk . We got upgraded to a King suite with a jacuzzi (rm 104). The room itself was spacious, with a desk, jacuzzi tub and a chair/ottoman. The Bed was soft and comfortable. The chair looked nice, but once you sat in it you could feel the wood frame in your lower back. The A/C worked well. The bathroom was adequate, but the showerhead was quite noisy (it screamed like a banshee). The room also came equipped with a small fridge, which was nice for beer and leftovers. I should also mention that the room had an LCD HDTV, which was also a pleasant surprise. We would definitely stay there again.
