“A friendly, family run hotel”

From the greeting we received when we arrived to the friendly farewells when we left, I was very impressed with the friendliness of the hotel staff. They were also incredibly helpful, and were more than happy to suggest/book restaurants, suggest places to visit etc. The hotel pool was also a massive plus, especially at the end of a long, hot day site-seeing! I will definitely go back to Hotel Torretta next time I visit that area of Tuscany.

“Fantastic experience! Wonderful staff! Perfect location!”

The staff at Hotel Torretta went out of their way to ensure we had a perfect stay. The Hotel is in a great location to ride the funicular and stroll into town. The hotel is beautifully appointed and immaculately kept. The bed was the most comfortable we had during our entire Italian holiday! The restaurant food was absolutely fantastic. Couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough!

Area recommendations

Montecatini Terme is a beautiful town with wide boulevardes and many parks. There are 5 spas at the time of writing - which weren't open while we were there, but are apparently world renowned. The town is in a great location to visit other cities and tourist sites such as Cinque Terre, Siena, Assisi.

Dining

The restaurant at Hotel Torretta provide an extraordinary fish dish. The waiter bought the grilled fish to the table and expertly filletted it in front of us. Both the meal I had and the meal my husband had were 2 of the best culinary experiences of our entire 3 week stop. Mouth-watering, beautifully presented and memorable.

“Exceptional Service”

My husband, two children (ages 5 and 2), and myself had a great three-night stay at Hotel Torretta. The staff went out of their way to help, and we loved having our own reserved table in the restaurant for any meals we ate there. I would highly recommend this hotel for it's family-run atmosphere and location.

l'albergo si trova in collina ma vicina alle terme del Tettuccio in posizione strategica e centrale. l'atmosfera è molto rilassante. adatto ad una clientela di tutte le età. l'albergo offre una buona cucina, la cortesia dei titolari è unica.

“Prima en rustig hotel”

Hotel Torretta bevindt zich op 15 minuten lopen van het centrum van Montecatini Terme. Het hotel is prima onderhouden, het ontbijt is okay en de service is erg goed. Een pluspunt is het aanwezige zwembad plus bubbelbad. Verwacht geen bruisend geheel (ik schat dat de gemiddelde leeftijd van de gasten rond de 60 ligt). Een ideaal hotel als je voor de rust komt en zelfstandig tripjes wil maken naar bijv Lucca, Siena en Viareggio. Aanrader!
