“Please search other hotels”

The staff members were unprofessional, unpolite and rude. Internet connection was frequently disconnected though you need to pay 8 Euro. Morning meals was not fresh and you may get discrimination of meals if you are staying with toghether. Please see other opinions.

“Nice place....but”

Nice hotel however it could have been excellent if a few things were different. No directions in the room for phone, tv, hotel, nothing.....the bathroom lacked a great deal and shampoo was in little sealed bags, soap broken and very small. I would think for a spa town they would have had some nice and unique items for guests. Staff was professional, but not friendly. I asked about a clock or radio and was told no, they did not and would not provide one so we had to use our wrist watches as we forgot our clock. House keeping was excellent and nice. Breakfast staff very curt (however to be honest the person working breakfast seemed to be at the hotel 24/7 in different jobs). The food never changed and the juice throughout our stay became weaker and weaker (watered down obviously). Location is excellent and there is a tourism office in the same block, thank goodness as our hotel staff offered no suggestions on restaurants or things to do!!!

Area recommendations

Explore this Town!!! Lots of great restaurants and shops if you walk around. Great store to stock up on soda and water rather than pay 3 euro from the mini bar!!!

Traveller's tip

Great resturant right across the street and down one block called Cucina. Price is a bit high, but they are open until 2:00 AM!! Also, go to the store called Conrads on the main street.....stock up on water and soda at .44 euro compared to 3.0 euro for mini bar in room!! We also had to go buy our own shampoo and soap as what the hotel provided was awful.

“Excellent but with items lacking for a 4*!”

The hotel itself was wonderful and ideally located for the local sights etc. I was, however, disappointed with the (predictable) choice of breakfast items and shocked that the hotel did not (and would not) provide a kettle or iron facilities...things I would've thought standard of a 4* hotel. I had to buy an iron (to press my husband's suit) and was forced to go through the incovenience of borrowing a friend's kettle each day so I could boil water for my baby's bottles. A real shame as otherwise it was lovely - and great value for money on Expedia!

There is a fantastic fish restaurant called Ristorante da Lorenzo on Corso Roma, Montecatini Terme (bout 5-10mins walk from the hotel).

“Great Location”

Location is excellent for nearby park & spas - try the tettuccio spa (6 euros)only 200m walk. Reception v helpful & friendly. Room we stayed in was small (not impression given by photos) with tiny bathroom, no balcony/bathrobes as advertised & tiny portable TV. Breakfast was buffet style but basic. Hotel was clean. Overall it should be a 3 star category.

hire a car to explore surrounding area (hotel has a large complimentary car park at the rear)

“Centralissimo ma.....”

L'hotel è bellissimo, il posto invidiabile ma le stanze, il mobilio e gli infissi in particolare risentono degli anni e la manutenzione non è adeguata. Colazione scarsa in scelta e qualità degli alimenti (assolutamente non da 4 stelle) nonostante la disponibilità e la gentilezza del personale di sala. Comodo e ben accessibile il parcheggio.

“SEJOUR MONTECATINI”

Chambres spacieuses, mais hotel très vieillot, et aucune insonorité des chambres. On entendait l'ascenseur monter et descendre toute la nuit !
