The rooms are okay, not all electrical outlets work and had to pay extra for an upgrade with a view which I ended up paying more had I not used expedia. The TV was on a weird code so it took me a day to figure out how to get it working plus it needed batteries.
We bought thru Expedia so when we checked in I was told that I should have called the hotel. I have used Expedia multiple times and have never had a hotel tell me that they would not upgrade or give us the room we thought we were getting because I used expedia. Then she opted to quietly give us a partial view room without a king but we took it in hopes we were by our friends. Then we went to the room and found every counter with sticky stuff on it and the frig had food and fast food soda in it. Kind of made us feel as though the room was never cleaned. Also on the carpet was what looked like white footprints. You could follow the path. Needless to say the counter staff were not very friendly or happy to be working there and I was surprised with our room. My friend let the staff manager know about our room and the only offer we received was to move back to a lower room with no view. We stayed where we were, unfortunately. At the end of our stay I told staff about some of the room dirty Ness and I received I'm sorry I will tell the maids. We were going to stay another night but we decided not to stay at this hotel. It is a great location with other hotels, around it so our large group will probably stay at one of the others next time.
Can't say anything bad about the hotel, the staff was top notch all the way, the food was excellent, very spacious room, comfortable bed, amazing view from the balcony of the ocean. Would easily comeback for another stay.
we had a room with a limited view of the ocean (don't bother, you really can't see the water unless you stand up) our room was clean and included a microwave, refrigerator and a kurig.
The bed was very comfortable!! :) which is really the most important part anyway.
Don't stay on the upper level if you have knee issues because there's no elevator and the steps are steep.
no water pressure, it took forever to rinse the shampoo out of my hair.
my daughter and I were traveling together, my bedside table had a lamp but her's didn't. She couldn't lay in bed and read her book
