“tucked away, but very convenient”
Hotel needs a little updating - tired bathroom, but very clean and tidy. Great location slightly away from main area, and as only 10mins to great restaurants and bars it was a good distance to stroll letting our dinner go down. Fabulously big and comfortable bed, air con worked well - which both were very welcome. Would go back/recommend.
“pisa two days”
Budget hotel within walking distance of the leaning tower etc. Suited our purposes for a family of four. Also within walking distance of the railway station with good connections to Luca and the seaside and the airport.
“Not Impressed”
My family and I stayed here for one night. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The photos do not give it an accurate representation. The location of the hotel is not great. The neighborhood is run down and there aren't many restaurants around. The staff was efficient, but not overly friendly.
“stay in Pisa”
As a family of 5 with teenagers it was very convenient to stay at this hotel, close to restaurants and shops. WiFi was very appreciated. The air condioning was not as cold as we wished. Breakfast was served at a vacation friendly time and hit the taste buds of our family. Overall we liked the Italian Flair and enjoyed our stay alot.
“Nice location to explore Pisa”
The hotel was very nice in the end when I was moved to a room with a working air conditioner. The first night was not very nice though because the A/C didn't work and it was very hot. The hotel was very friendly and responsive in general and especially when I asked for a new room. I guess I was lucky it was available.
“Great place for a reasonably-priced, comfortable stay in Pisa”
I mixed business with pleasure on my trip to Pisa; I had business in nearby Lucca, and decided to stay in Pisa, because it was centrally-located and not too expensive. This hotel fit the bill perfectly for me; I could walk to the train station, and it was close to the main shopping drag in Pisa, as well as many fine restaurants. The airport was about an 8 Euro cab ride away. The room itself was comfortable and plenty roomy (except for the corner shower, which took some getting used to). The breakfast was exactly the same, every morning (I was there six nights), but it was plentiful despite its lack of imagination. I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Verdi and would go back if the occasion presented itself.
“Would return for sure :-)”
Great hotel :-)
“Very comfortable family room”
We wanted a family room in a hotel in the centre of Pisa and stayed in a great room in the Verdi at an extremely reasonable price. The room was very spacious with two double beds, a couple of sofas and plenty of space. There wasn't very much drawer space for clothes for four people but the wardrobe was adequate. The breakfast buffet was generally very good, particularly for the children who could pick and mix as they liked. The staff in the hotel were efficient and friendly without being overbearing.
“Small, clean hotel in a quiet area but within easy distance of sites and transport”
Hotel was ideal for us. Slightly off the beaten track so nice and quiet at night. Hotel slightly old fashioned but very clean and staff very helpful. Station around a 15 minute walk from hotel and the leaning tower etc about a 20 minute walk. Continental breakfast ideal to set you up for a day of sightseeing. Tea/coffee/wine available on request at night if needed.
“Miserable breakfast staff!!”
Location in relation to attractions/trains/airport is fine. Hotel itself is very tired looking and in need of some attention but by far the biggest negative was the attitude of the breakfast staff - everything and anything was too much trouble, not the way to start your day!

Area:
Pisa, Italy: Many churches, bridges and fading palazzi adorn this ancient maritime city, but most visitors have eyes for just one building. Pisas famous Torre Pendente (Leaning Tower) seems to defy the laws of physics, which Galileo tested with weights dropped from its summit. Even without its recently stabilized tilt, this marble bell-tower would be an architectural marvel. Two ornate pulpits are highlights of the Duomo and Baptistery nearby.
