“XLNT LOCATION”

Ideally located for airport and station; and not too far from the local attractions if you like a pleasant walk through the streets of Pisa. Hotel felt very upmarket, with very friendly staff. Would definitely use again.

“'recommended stopover'”

Really convenient location for travellers. Excellent breakfast in bright , clean surroundings. Good service and courteous, helpful staff. Only drawback, mattress was very hard for tired travellers.

“A hotel I would be happy to return and stay.”

Really good location, you can see the railway station from the front of the hotel, it's only a few minutes walk. Breakfast offered a wide choice and you could return to the buffet as many times as you wished. Free internet access available, I had my own laptop so used the wifi. The access seems to be limited; we were there for four nights and had four hours. This was more than enough for me, but not sure what happens if you required more time online. In conclusion, very happy staying at the hotel.

“Hotel Touring”

Excellent position for the train station and the airport shuttle. Rather noisy in the mornings when the street cleaners arrived at 7am. Staff helpful and courteous. However, we were not warned that we would need to keep Euros for the end of our stay to pay extra city taxes on top of our pre-paid bill. Fortunately we did have some cash left as cards were not acceptable.

“Just one night in Pisa”

The hotel was a short walk to the Leaning Tower. Taxi ride to the airport seemed like no more than 15 minutes.

“Central location”

The location of Hotel Touring Pisa is good as it is walking distance to the train station, 2km from the airport and close to the Leaning Tower. The hotel was quite basic but served our purpose of an overnight stay enroute to the Cinque Terre.

“Satisfied overall”

I booked this hotel primarily for its proximity to the station which is only a few minutes walk away. We got the bus to and from the airport, one euro each way. It's also about 20 mins walk to the Leaning Tower and convenient for shops and restaurants. We felt safe in the surrounding streets which isn't always the case near train stations. Judging the rooms isn't easy because we had a King and a Twin. The King was reasonably spacious but the twin was a little tight on space - but fine for one or two nights as a base. The first Twin we were offered had a terrible smell. To be fair, the cleaner was mortified and sprayed it etc, but the smell lingered and our kids refused to have the room. After a bit of discussion they were moved and the next room was fine. The rooms were otherwise spotless and a credit to housekeeping. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast area is small and we had a bit of a wait for a table, but the food was fine. If you want a clean, reasonably priced hotel for a night or two in Pisa, then this is a very good choice.

“Really convenient”

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Touring Pisa. It was about 2 minutes walk from the train station - and a short bus ride from the airport - so very convenient for exploring the local area. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The bathroom was a little on the small side - but perfect for a short-term stay.

“Breakfast review”

A very small eating area for breakfast for the size of hotel staff couldn't cope with replenishing the buffet table not a very wide range of choice on the buffet. Small lift to rooms our room was next to a cupboard with noisy water pipes and the machinery of the lift but this said the staff were very helpful, the hotel was very clean and comfortable

“Good Hotel for one night”

The hotel was very close to the railway station and easy to find. The room was clean and air conditioned and the bathroom was fine. A bit of a walk to the cathedral and Tower etc, and would have been helpful to have a map provided in the room to take! Bed uncomfortable, did not get a good sleep. All in all for one night, and with the closeness to the train for airport link was fine.
