“right at the tower's doorstep”

This hotel has a wonderful location just steps away from the plaza where the leaning tower is located. parking is a block away, but free for hotel guests, and you can unload the car at the hotel doorstep before parking. The room was very comfortable, our only complaint was the thinness of the towels. Breakfast was very nice with fresh delicious pastries and breads, sandwiches, cereal and coffee and juice. We were very happy with our stay.

“Excellent location for the sights of Pisa”

5 meters from the bus stop from Pisa airport and overlooking the entance to the Campo dei Miracoli - you couldn't wish for a better location (& next to the McCafe but we resisted that one!). All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Watch out for the mosquitos - even at the end of October - we had over 60 bites each in the room in one night. Breakfast of toast, cake, and traditional ham/egg pasty with a range of drinks from the coffee machine. Very small shower space in a small bathroom, but it did us for one night.Good value (is anywhere in Italy any more?) for its location alone.

Very conveniently located accross the street from the tower of Pisa but not thrilled with Hotel itself. The rooms were clean but small. The towels were like napkins. However the staff was pleasant. Breakfast was limited but ok.

The hotel was perfect. Great location right next to the Piazza di Miracoli. Staff was very nice and accomodating - even letting us check in early.

Great location for major sites.room 0ne was extremely noisy and hot-air conditioning blowing hot air only and staff uninterested in fixing. single very flat pillow.room 2 better as quiet.breakfast very basic and cleared away before we had finished eating.

“Super Hotel für Pisa-Trip oder Kurzurlaub”

Hotel Il Giardino liegt direkt außerhalb der Stadtmauer in einem alten Haus vor dem Piazza del Miracoli, also dem Dom mit dem schiefen Turm von Pisa und den anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir wurden erwartet und sehr freundlich empfangen. Parken auf dem naheliegenden Parkplatz neben der Universität war kein Problem und im Zimmerpreis inklusiv. Gepäck ausladen vor dem Hotel ist etwas schwierig, weil eigentlich nur auf dem viel befahrenen Busstreifen möglich. War aber für uns überhaupt kein Problem, wir sind einfach auf den Platz vor dem Hotel gefahren. Dort ist eine Menge los, denn die Verkaufsstände für Touristen liegen direkt neben und vor dem Hotel. Unser Dreibettzimmer war ruhig, sauber, ordentlich und weitgehend mückenfrei. Im TV konnten wir das auf SAT1 das Spiel HSV gegebn Celtic Glagow (1:0) sehen. Dies allerdings nachdem uns von der freundlichen Rezeption außerhalb des Turistengebietes die Pizzeria Azurro empfohlen wurde, die in etwa 10 Minuten Fußweg erreichbar ist. Dort würden wir auch jederzeit wieder essen gehen. Also: Il Giardino ist ein einfaches Frühstückshotel in super Lage und mit ansprechenden, sauberen Zimmern und freundlicher, Englisch sprechender Rezeption!

Hôtel très bien placé pour les visites touristiques. Malheureusement, le bruit et les odeurs désagréables le soir devant l'hôtel peuvent être génantes. Le service n'est pas à la hauteur. L'état global et la propreté de l'hôtel sont cependant tout à fait correct. Hôtel correct mais qui gagnerait beaucoup à embaucher une équipe plus compétente.
