We arrived at this hotel via taxi from the airport, only 5 mins away and liked it immediately. The staff were all lovely, room was great, large bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and they have a nice little courtyard to eat in when the weather is nice. We were 2 mins from the train station which was perfect. Highly recommended.

The bus from the airport stops right outside the hotel. Within minutes a very helpful young guy on reception had checked me in early to an air conditioned superior room which was very quiet despite overlooking the square in front of the station. The bathroom was immaculate. The breakfast buffet included fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, bacon and scrambled eggs and a lovely variety of croissants. Best of all was a coffee machine dispensing delicious Italian cappuccino (amongst other coffees). Buses to the Leaning Tower were outside but I was able to walk there quite comfortably across the river. It was an easy short train ride to Lucca from the station across the road.
This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. It was within walking distance of everything and right by train station. Because it is located in what I would call an alley being raised in America, I was a little worried, but inside was fabulous. Old but beautiful. Our family of 5 had a 2 room suite which never happens in Europe. The beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. They spoke fluent English. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends. Pisa was a great place to visit and this hotel made the experience even better.

This is a lovely little B&B within easy walking distance of Pisa railway station and the Tower. Our room was very clean, comfortable and had an excellent bathroom. The wifi in the room was good. The breakfast served in the morning was mainly pastries, breads and cooked meats and was very good. The owner, who speaks fluent English, was fantastically helpful and gave us advice on transport and where to eat. We were really happy with our stay and we would definitely book this hotel again.

We arrived at a locked front door of an apartment block with no response to either a doorbell or telephone call to the number given. We had rung before leaving the UK to advise of our arrival time and they said just ring when you arrive. We waited on the street with our bags in temperatures of 38 degrees and finally gave up and went to a local pasta bar. The guy was a gem and insisted on taking our bags in and continued ringing the telephone number we had been given. We were on the point of trying another B & B nearby when a guy showed up to take us back and let us in. This happened to at least 2 other groups of people and we could at least let them into the apartment block hall out of the heat whilst they continued to ring the telephone number given.
The Philipino guy who prepared breakfast was really kind but did insist on serving up his home made cake and jam or steamed bread. It would have been nice to try a croissant or local breads. Mosquito problem due to surrounding woodland at rear.

Excellent position for the train station and the airport shuttle. Rather noisy in the mornings when the street cleaners arrived at 7am. Staff helpful and courteous. However, we were not warned that we would need to keep Euros for the end of our stay to pay extra city taxes on top of our pre-paid bill. Fortunately we did have some cash left as cards were not acceptable.
