On arrival, the hotel gave us a room upgrade, the start of a very enjoyable stay. Only 32 euros by taxi from/to the airport. Turin has lots of fantastic shops and places to see. You can see the snow-capped mountains as a very nice back-drop. The various Palaces, the Egyptian museum and the Mole, with views over the city and surrounding mountains are definitely worth visiting but there is so much more to see. The markets are good and the grid system of roads allows easy navigation. There was always something going on (festivals, exhibitions, speciality markets, etc.) and wonderful scenery. The hotel was ideally situated in the north part of the city close to all places of interest and activities. South of the main east/west road Corsa Vittorio Emanuele II we only walked to the Automobile museum, very interesting, and the old Fiat factory (now converted into a shopping mall), this part of the city we found not as interesting as the north part.

Location of the hotel was very central and the building itself is stunning. Junior suite rooms are great and with good views over the city. The staff are very friendly and recommended some great restaurants nearby.
Every facility you could possibly need is readily available in this hotel, in the rooms, reception, restaurant, bar and other public rooms. Everything is clean and well-maintained and the staff are friendly, readily approachable, helpful and knowledgeable. I would particularly recommend the hotel restaurant which we used for a couple of evenings. Again the service was excellent, the food interesting and well-prepared and prices reasonable. All in all a superbly located, managed and staffed hotel representing good value for money.
I loved this hotel! The staff was friendly and spoke English ( I'm a New Yorker) . The room was very chic with great linens, slippers and robes. Gorgeous bathroom, great concierge and live music in the lobby on sunday morning.
It was perfect.

Although we experienced a few glitches (key not working, safe not working) the hotel stay was pleasant. It was a relief to be in a well A/C room, and the room had a good layout with the bed in one area, desk in another. The bathroom had a great 2 persons shower!
The staff was accommodating and courteous.
The location was perfect right behind Piazza Castello, everything at walking distance.
Picture hardly looks like the hotel. Ok location, limited but good for Italian standard breakfast included, ideally situated right next to one of Turins main train station. However low value for money as hotel sells itself more like a 4 star also in price and is really only 3 star
Right in the centre of town is the Piazza Castello, built in the 16th century and the former power base of the Dukes of Savoy. Nowadays, it is a large square in which pedestrians, cars, buses, and trams all vie for priority. In the centre of the piazza is a Roman gate, a mediaeval castle, and a baroque facade.
