Small family run B&B in quiet suburb of Sorrento but with excellent transport connections via local railway/ bus network.
Comfortable en-suite room and tastefully furnished throughout with character only found in older buildings.
Stayed for a week but on a hectic tourist schedule so really only slept and breakfasted at the hotel, we prefer a quieter less organised life and this suited us.
Breakfast was a combination of cold egg/ ham and local pastries/ cakes - limited choice but ample to start the day with a selection of coffee/ teas available to order.
Hotel style facilities limited but it is a mid-priced B&B so exactly as expected.
We walked miles on our visit, local bars and restaurants a bit limited off season but overall a great holiday.
This is an apartment within 15 mins drive of Sorrento set high in the hills overlooking the Amalfi coast, a wonderful setting. Probably 5 mins drive from civilisation, but we enjoyed the serenity of it, and didnt actually eat out during our stay, Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with parking on the road (it is on a hill). It is not really within walking distance of much, so make sure you have a car.

Great experience. Very charming owners. Serving homemade breakfast outside with breathtaking view of the Amalfi Coast.
They prepared very tasteful Italian cappuccino.
Maria and Antonio (the owners) do their best to make you feel at home. Thank you so much for the beautiful stay!

Our first impression of this place was walking through the garden in the dark. We heard waves crashing and church bells ringing. We noticed the lights of Napoli far off across the bay. Next morning we stepped outside and gasped at the view...spectacular vista of the sea over a cliff in a garden of orange trees and ancient olives. The room was basic with rustic charm. We used the kitchen and enjoyed shopping at local markets to buy fresh fish, sausage, fruits and vegetables. The lady who checked us in encouraged us to cook pasta, so we did. They had a beautiful pool, at least Olympic size. Situated in Piano di Sorrento, we were away from the tourist areas, yet just a train/bus ride from all the attractions. We were a 10 min walk from the Circumvesuviana train which goes from Napoli to Sorrento and all around Vesuvius. We bought a train/bus pass and used it the first day to visit Pompeii...off to a great start! Next we took the bus to Amalfi. It was one of those cliff hanger bus rides on a narrow road hugging the edge above sea. Spectacular! We came back again and again. We rode the bus all the way to Salerno. We saw Capri. We took the sightseeing bus up the mountain from Amalfi. We walked back down on the ancient path with at least 2,000 stone steps. When it was time to leave, we both shed tears. Yes we'd stay there again.
