“Costa Alta Resort is a Trailer Camp”

When looking at the "hotel" and its facilities, we thought this was a 4-star hotel/resort. In truth, it is a trailer camp with very nice facilities. The grounds are lovely and there is a great large swimming pool. But the rooms are like separate trailer cabins. Everything is very clean and the staff is very helpful. If you want an inexpensive trailer camp, this place is perfect. But if you expect a traditional Hotel/Resort, you will be very disappointed.

“Great service!”

Great location to visit the surrounding areas Sorrento, Capri, Pompeii and Almafi coastline. The hotel is perfect for anyone who wants a self catering accomodation, as the chalets provide a kitchette and fridge. The hotel staff were very helpfull and extremely helpfull. Would definately go back.

“Abgelegen, eng, laut, billig”

Selbst für den Preis kann mann etwas mehr erwarten - vor allen Dingen Ruhe! Der positive Aspekt "Swimmingpool" wurde durch schrille Animation während der Poolzeiten und Abends bis 24:00 Uhr zerstört. Frühstück war vorhanden. Eigentlich kein Hotel ... und schon gar nicht vier Sterne. Bungalow und Gelände, alles zu eng für die Anzahl der möglichen Personen. Schade die Leute sind eigentlich nett und zuvorkommend.

“Costa Alta Resort : hebergement moyen, très bon accueil et emplacement”

On aime: - l'accueil de l'équipe (sincérité, gentillesse, ...): tous ne parlent pas bien anglais. mais tous vous conseilleront pour réussir vos vacances et bénéficier des meilleures astuces. - la localisation (encore que en haute saison, cela doit etre galère) - le train à 10 mn à pieds de l'hotel qui relie Piano di Sorrento à Pompéi, Naples ... - l'italie et la région de naples - la magnifique piscine (un peu froide en mai) On aime moins : - l'eau du robinet - le coté village vacances (vivable en moyenne saison mais sans doute moins sympa en été) : le soir, le touriste italien est très bruyant Séjour en mai 2010

Area recommendations

Pompéi, extraordinaire ! Prévoir 1 journée entière (1/2 jour avec des enfants) Paestum, fantastique et complémentaire de Pompéi (autre époque) Le vésuve, pour changer des vielles pierres et parce qu'il reste au coeur de l'histoire de la région La cote Amalfi ... si pas trop de touristes (c'est magnifique mais que de monde !) Par contre, Capri, à partir de mai : surfait, piege à touriste ! Bref, Capri, c'est fini :-)

De préférence avant la haute saison (il parait qu'il pleut souvent en avril/début mai). Donc mai ou septembre.

Getting around

Voiture ... (la conduite italienne et napolitaine reste très particulière. Cela fait partie du charme du pays ...) train pour éviter les bouchons et le parking
