“Room with a great view”

Stayed at the Pacific Club for 5 nights in a nice room on the 4th floor ( Great view of the ocean). Room was very nice , comfortable bed and spacious. Amenities were excellent including the roof top pool and the herbal steam room and spa on the ground floor, these were available up to midnight each day at no extra charge. Location was good just a 5-10 min walk down to Karon Beach. We had a spa service on our last day and my husband had a thai massage with Lilly, which he got great benefit from. Only thing that we felt let this resort down was the reception staff and the restaurant evening food.(Breakfast good) We enquired about a late check out on our arrival and was advised to check on our departure day as they hotel was fully booked. We found that there willingness to help with this wasn't visible . Finally got a late check out on the last day but we were made to feel that this was a great inconvenience for them but we only needed an extra hour til 1.00pm. Enquired about hiring a motor scooter for the next day and the girl at reception seemed very uninterested in making this enquiry. Our other problem was with the vegetarian food that they have on the menu. It was disgusting, no other way to describe it. My husband had spinach & cheese canelloni and it came out tasteless , dry and it appeared that it was frozen then heated in a microwave before serving. My dish, vegetarian lasagna was also tasteless therefore we did not have any other evening meals in the hotel restaurant.

“Death March Hotel”

The Hotel was OK. I have stayed in better resorts in Phuket. The hill to go to and from the hotel was the worst. The Tuk Tuks charge 200 baht to drive you up the hill and that adds up fast. Not located with the "action". Great Hotel if there was another Tsunami.

We kindly suggest our readers to "read between the lines" in this review. Our property is located slightly "away from the action"and that's why most folks choose to stay with us. At 10 minutes walk from the beach, most folks who are in good enough condition to visit Disney World or walk from the ticketing counter at Suvarnabhumi Airport to the departure gate etc. will find the walk refreshing and nothing to complain about. It's clear this Guest should have picked a hotel in Patong where there are lot's of Go-Go Bars and Girly Beer Bars right outside your door. We kindly welcome all Guests who are interested to experience tropical nature within a reasonable walking distance from the beach waterline, lakefront park, and Karon Village.

“Relax and enjoy”

We had a wonderful 5 days at Pacific Club. No surprises, great service, clean, clean, clean and reasonable rates. We had two breakfasts, and an evening meal. All wonderful. Spent alot of time at the pool with it's beautiful view and surrounds. Loved the decor, not all ultra modern glass and marble. The night desk guy was particularly lovely to deal with. We look forward to going again!

Highlight of the trip was a meal at the Jazz Restuarant above Kata Beach. Cost 2000 bt for two. What a wonderful way to watch the sun set and enjoy a beautiful evening. Worth every cent. Great food and service.

“family on holiday”

The hotel was very nice and the staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms were large and well equipped. The only draw back is the location. It is fine if you don't mind walking but it is a little off the beaten track and the last bit of the walk back from the beach is up hill - good exercise if you like it, but if you don't like walking, not the hotel for you. the pool was very nice and although not huge, we were often the only ones there.

“Beautiful Hotel”

The Hotel was great. Every picture that is on the web site is accurate. The service was good, food was not great. The spa was great. You will be treated like a Queen/King.

“Our second stay there”

This was our second stay at the Pacific Club. It was just as enjoyalble as the first time. We'll be back next year again.

We did make the trip out to Patong every day or evening for the selection of restaurants, bars, shopping, etc., however you do have everything you need in and around Karon, there is just more of it in Patong. So I guess the only negative is paying the three hundred Baht transportation fee to Patong each time, but that is only because we liked walking around and sampling all the different bars, shops, restaurants, and the new mall after a day at the beach.

What to pack

You need really strong sunscreen. We packed 30Spf and it didn't even come close to offering us enough protection after a day at the beach.

“Will stay there again”

This is a nice small hotel. It's quite new. The hotel has very warm and friendly atmosphere. You’ll find there a very good restaurant with quite delicious food. Since it’s located a little bit far from the sea it’s better to go by taxi to the beach.

“Best Hotel on Phuket! An affordable paradise!”

Pacific Club is an absolute paradise! It's a little off the beach, but there are convenient shuttles and it is not too far of a walk. The pool is amazing, the rooms are very beautiful and super clean, and it's an amazing value! Karon is not the hottest of spots on Phuket, but Kata is a 200thb cab ride away and has many great dining spots. Best hotel we stayed at in Thailand!

“Wonderful place to stay in!”

Rooms were clean, no odd smells. TV had a great selection (if you want to want TV in a foreign land, haha!) Wifi connection was great. Rooftop pool fantastic. Restaurant serves good food. Staff helpful. 7 minute walk to beach manageable. Definitely will be returning again!

Take a walk around the whole Karon Town. Beachfront food much more expensive than within the town.

“Worth every penny”

Helpful Staff. They do bombard you with discount offers in the hotel when you check in but by no means offensive. Hotel is situated about 10 mins walk from main town and beach but is a safe walk even late at night. Nice decor/character and rooms are clean with excellent facilities. The pool area is fantastic, lovely view and generally didn't get bothered by the odd towel hogger! Free internet near reception is always handy. Never actually used the restaurant. Nice massage facilities with staff very keen for your business but they are good. You do pay more than the town parlours but if you want guaranteed hygiene then this place is good. Usually give you 20 - 25% discount anyway. Overlly, staff are friendly and helpful so all in all a good 7 night stay there.

Area recommendations

Laguna for the more cash rich. Seems like a nice complex and restaurants out of the complex seem very reasonably priced.
