“Yigit”
Nice hotel, with beautiful beach Small complimentary services was lacking for this level Like picking up from airport and lifting back... In general, transportation is a way of "lets take more more money from these guys" method. Shouldn't need this "clever" approach... Shame on Le Meridien...
“great family hotel”
hotel has all the requirements for a family holiday. Good location, great pools, beautiful beach,a well laid out hotel, making for ease of use of all the facilities on site.
“Meridien Magic”
Le Meridien in Phuket has several distinct advantages over other hotels. It is close to Patong Beach without being part of it; it is on its own private beach (no hawkers or stalls to block views or intrude); offers water sports, tennis etc; the outdoor swimming pool area is immense and deep with smaller shallower pools as well. Several dining areas provide choice of location and food type. Food was plentiful, varied and of good quality. Some other advantages were that 2 adults and 1 child were able to share a room with no extra charge; buffet breakfast was included for 2; and when we were there, (early December), a child was able to eat free at the evening meal if with at least one adult. There was also a kids club, aquarobics, and nightly cabaret entertainment at one of the restaurants. Highly recommended for anyone!
“Highly Recommended”
Fantastic choice for a hotel stay. Reasonably priced especially for the quality. Could not fault the service and facilities. Extremely private which is great as it isolates you from the all the hawkers in Patong and Karon and away from all the lunatic tourists in Patong and is extremely quiet. If you have no interest in doing the tourist thing then Le Meridien is your own little piece of paradise and solitude in the tropics. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the facilities in good condition (though the quality of some of the tradesman ship is not great but that is only something I noticed as I work in construction and is a general comment with Thai buildings!!) The only negative comment I would make is that the pricing of the food options is a little high even for an hotel but the food quality is very good and in some cases excellent. One of the best things is that there are not a lot of kids their so a great place for couples looking for a quiet getaway. Would highly recommend this to anyone who asked.
“Highly recommend this hotel in Phuket”
The staff were very friendly and helpful and communicated well. The Hotel itself was fantastic with several choices for dining with a sunset bar and private beach. A nice haven from the busy Patong district, and yet a short tuk tuk ride into town. Wouldn't hesitate it recommending to those who want the resort feel and luxury surrounds within close proximity to Patong Beach.
“excellent spot for those who want to chill out in the hotel and beach altho drinks+ food over priced”
lovely location and beach but hotel transport costs and isolation make it expensive to 'escape' which is necessary as drinks and food at hotel are over priced...I expect hotel prices to b higher but I am sorry to say the 'add on' costs here are way 'over the top' ..this includes i/net in rooms..drinks..food..transport* telephone..mini bar.....parts of the hotel are dated but maintenance and service levels are hi..I would not go back ( this was my 2nd stay) as there are far better options now in Phuket... it has become popular with Russians and I believe this has also lead to some of the over pricing....recently dropped out of the Le Meridien Hotel management group and altho still recognising SPG(Starwood) it no longer recognises Priviledge membership...
“A dream resort in the heart of Phuket”
It was simply an amazing experience for the entire family!
“Had a great, relaxing time.”
The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. We got upgraded (for 7 nights), had to change rooms for the last night and had a painless transition as they made sure the other room was ready very early. The pools and beach are lovely. Will definately return.
“We'll be back for our 3rd trip to phuket and Le Meridiem. Fantastic!!!”
Excellent Hotel and the people wonderful
“Great Hotel”
We had a week's stay at the hotel. Good facilities, nice room, recently refurbished. The large pool area is worth a visit alone. The beach was ideal, clean, white sand, safe for swimming. The staff are polite and happy to serve. There are a number of small shops in the complex but they're expensive. The only drawback for us was having to take a taxi or mini-bus to get into either Patong or Karon, its too far out for walking. Even if you decide to walk there are no paths/pavements making it unsafe.
