“We will be back again! Loved it!”

Fantastic location down side street of Patong beach. 2 min walk to beach. Right in the heart of the action but not noisy. Hotel is beautiful and tranquil with lush gardens and an outdoor feel. I loved the scenery and the layout of hotel. Staff very friendly and willing to please and make you feel comfortable. Pool has waterfalls, comfy lounges and a swim up pool bar. Beds were hard but i found that where we stayed in Bangkok too - cant help but feel its all Thailand beds! Bed was massive! Free minibar which shocked me! And free buffet breakfast are a must! Love the egg bar (choose omelette, poached etc). Absolutely loved it and have already said we will stay there again as we loved it so much!

Dining
We ate at Restaurant Number 6 near Bangla Road. Always packed with people waiting on the street. Very casual and not air conditioned but great food for cheap (2 drinks, entree and 2 mains for like $12/$350baht)

“Ok if you like the noise of patong”

Our room was ok, but the bathroom design needs some work. Close to the beach. The life of patong is all around and the tuk tuk noise was a bit much at 3am, apart from that, the breakfast was great, the pool was cold and uninviting when compared to the beach 100m away, but the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Area recommendations
Get out of patong if you want to relax, there are lots of better beaches and peaceful areas

“Great boutique hotel”

We usually stay at either the Holiday Inn, Merlin or Amari, all great but we wanted something smaller and more quiet. The Burasari did not disappoint. Location was great, everything was still within walking distance, beach, Jeung Ceylon shopping centre, bars and restaurants but its tucked away off the main drag . We opted for the Elite pool access room for our 7 day mid September stay and loved it.We had a huge day bed( watch the mozzies though), beach towels changed daily, direct access to the pool from our room ,( so we didn't need to swim in the murky ocean), free mini bar each day and a full buffet breakfast with heaps of choices. Perfect! The bed wasn't as hard as expected, adequate storage for your things plus plasma TV! . We found the bathroom to be HUGE , which could have been made smaller to give more room space and the bathroom fixtures could do with an update especially the bath taps . But the fact that there even was a bath was a great bonus .We didn't dine in so can't comment on the food apart from bfast which was plentiful and varied. The in house spa room looked wonderful but pricey when compared to outside offerings.Staff were always friendly and any issues were resolved quickly. If you opt for the pool access room there is no need to reserve your lilo unlike at the Holiday Inn! When we were leaving they were actually repainting plus taking down curtains to wash in several rooms which was good to see. So would I stay here again, the answer is YES!

Area recommendations
I was very impressed with the relatively new shopping centre of Jeung Ceylon. It has lots of good reasonably priced restaurants and bars and makes a welcome change to drinking along Bangla Soi where its all "same, same"

“Best of Everything”

I had stayed here 5 years ago my first trip to Phuket. The new upgrade to the hotel are wonderful. Lots of space and lots of green plants and trees all around the resort. As well it is nice to have walls everywhere and enjoy the fabulous weather as you navigate around. The pool is wonderful and clean. Staff are wonderful, i can't not say enough great things about them. Upon check in the greet you with a nice cold drink and are more than willing to help and get you anything you may need. In the morning they are very helpful to ensure that you find your driver if you are waiting for a tour pick up. They have a tour desk and the ladies there are more than willing to help find the right activity for you. Get a room that includes breakfast, the buffet has something for everyone. And it's hot and fresh regardless what time you are there. Starting at 6:30am and ending at 10:30am. Staff are very prompt to serve you coffee or tea. We got to know them very well by the end of our stay, and they knew what to bring us for drinks when we sat down. The menu has a great variety of local and western food, at very good prices. You won't be disappointed with your stay here. Only half a block walk to the Patong Market and half a block to the beach. Don't owrry about the niose from all the entertainment just up the road. When you are in the resort or your room you will not hear it, and can relax.

Area recommendations
Patong market not only has many row upon rows of shops selling anything you may need, but mixed in are food and drink stalls. The locals are always happy to stop and talk or guess where you are from. You can walk and shop for miles. There are also many bars and resturants right around the corner that often have live entertainment at night. The Hard Rock Cafe is may be 5 minute walk.

“Luxurious & Beautiful Thai Hotel in Patong”

We were extremely happy with Burasari and highly recommend to others! The hotel is beautifully designed and has a real Thai feel about it. It is conveniently located about 70m walk from Patong beach and the main shopping strips. The staff were very helpful, always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. The room was a great size, small private balcony, luxurious bathroom with oversized showerhead, air-con, free wireless internet and movie channels. Very clean and tidy. The 2 pools are amazing but as you can expect are very busy on sunny days. So if you want a chair by the pool be sure to go early (in Thailand 10 or 11am is early!). We treated ourselves to the hotel spa treatments which were exceptional, however were expensive (double the price) compared to what you can find elsewhere on the streets. Same goes with the hotel food and drinks, excpetional but a bit over priced (for Thailand). The buffet breakfast was magnificent, catering for all types. Couldn't fault this. I would definitely recommend staying at Burasari if you are looking to stay in Patong!

Area recommendations
Be sure to do day trips to other Islands like Phi Phi. Absolutely gorgeous. Don't get caught up with all the different tour packages or prices - just go with something you are happy to pay as the tours are all the same.
Shopping
Tip for bartering - we were advised to aim for half of their starting price. With a lot of items we actually got a lot cheaper, just over a third of their starting price. Start low and don't buy on your first day - get the feel for bartering first and don't be disappointed to walk away as there will be another shop with same stuff just up the street.

“Staff let it down”

This is a great wee hotel when you consider value for money. We had a pool access room and the first night the room we got was right beside the main walkway and the restaurant meaning we got no sleep that night. Next morning I spoke to reception who said we could move to a room further along. Very happy with the result but when we came back at 2pm to change as requested, we were told we were too late?? Receptionist was very rude and i told her we would go on to our next hotel early rather than stay in a room we couldn't rest in. Eventually room got changed and we were very happy with the hotel, the cleanliness, the facilities, the location and the food and beverage service and quality - it has a great ambience and is wonderfully located to enjoy Patong and it's beach. The biggest drawback for this hotel is the staff who can make you feel like a real nuisance to them and they can be very rude and unpleasant. We would go back however as the pool access room was great and other than the staff, everything else was fantastic.

Area recommendations
Phuket is great for either relaxing or getting right into the social life available. We did go in the rainy season and most days were very overcast and it rained every day. I would certainly recommend the Baan Rim Pa Restaurant - superb - but make sure you book early to get a balcony table.
Getting around
Tuk Tuks are very expensive on Phuket compared to Bangkok. Walk if possible as around 200 thb is the minimum charge no matter how short the trip.
Shopping
Make sure you take enough to wear if you are a normal western size as the sizes in clothing does tend to be on the smaller size.
Dining
Baan Rim Pa Restaurant is amazing and well worth the visit!! A little on the costly side for Phuket but well worth it.

“Always go back”

We have been to the Burasari Hotel now for 5 times and enjoy every moment. The service is great and the staff remember us from previous visits and treat us like old friends. The only minor complaint is that they need to fix the air conditioning, as we had to move rooms as the AC broke down. Otherwise a wonderful experience and we will definately go back there again.

“Beautiful Burasari”

What can I say. This was my third visit to the Burasari and I stayed in both Mood room and the Elite Pool Access Room. The Mood room is huge with a massive balcony and spa, however the Pool Access room is much better as I found slipping off the balcony into the pool wonderful. What a great room. Dont forget to ask for Mr Mong. He will attend to your every need (tours, taxi etc.)

Area recommendations
Tik restaurant in Bang Tao Beach- Watch the sun set with you feet in the sad whilst enjoying an amazing cocktail. This is by far the the best atmosphere for a restaurant in Phuket. Its a bit of a drive(tuk tuk) 600 Bht from Patong (30 mins) but well worth it.
