Easy Access to beach & on the quite corner

Posted 23-Aug-2014
I was on our honeymoon and stayed at NAP Patong for 7 nights . Our overall stay was OK. Hotel lobby area looks stunning. Breakfast was Ok but the overall menu could be improved in comparison with breakfast available at competitors menu. Room was comfortable but house keeping needs improvement. I guess we had one person doing house keeping for the whole block which was time consuming. The location is very easy for beach access. Its on the other side of Bangla Road so not as busy or crowded as places near Bangla road would be. As I booked this hotel well in advance I got the good rates but otherwise I will suggest other travellers to search hard before making their choice as there are plenty of them available.

Great hotel, quiet end of town.

Posted 17-Aug-2014
Pros: That it was close to the beach and easily within walking distance of everything, but at the quiet end of town. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Cons: Clean bedding, room lights should have all been operating before we arrived and not fixed the day we left. Consistency of alcohol in cocktails.
Location: Close to the beach, seafood restaurants and within walking distance of all the main attractions e.g Bangla Rd, shopping and massage shops.
Pros - close to the beach but at the quiet end of town away from the hussel and bussel of Bangla Rd, good views of the pool (we were in room 405), great breakfast selection every morning, very friendly and helpful staff, close to an array of great seafood restaurants on the main road, easily within walking distance of everything including Jungceylon shopping centre, Bangla Rd, and the beach, great sized room and balcony, good sized pool, late check out is 12:00pm, good for families as there were lots there during our stay which did make the pool area quite noisy at times. Cons - bed underlay was stained which you could see through the sheet, this was replaced once I notified hotel staff, cocktails we ordered by the pool had no or very little alcohol in them compared to what we ordered at the bar, lights in the wardrobe and bathroom were broken and weren't fixed until the day we left, level four has no views of the beach it is blocked out by trees, didn't receive the complementary drink and hot towel upon arrival and reception forgot to return our passports after photocopying them,

Amazing hotel.

Posted 10-Aug-2014
This hotel exceeded our expectations. Beautiful hotel (slightly aged in some areas where guests don't go) with great staff and an incredible buffet breakfast plus everything in the hotel room mini bar was free which we have never seen before. If it wasn't for this hotel being so good we may have had a crappy holiday. The pool is small but it didn't bother us.

Pros: They are very environmental friendly, you can opt to save the world without cleaning of our bed sheet thru out the stay of 3 days..
very pleasant stay in this hotel with very friendly staff. the drinks in the fridge is free and they will top up every day .. but of course we did not take those sugar drinks but we really appreciate what they have given. Clean and nice hotel..

Amazing Staff, Amazing Location

Posted 29-Jul-2014
Pros: the location was fantastic, far away enough that it was quite but still close enough to walk to everything. Amazing staff, very clean
Cons: Air conditioner temp controls
Location: Far away enough from the hustle and bustle of the main strip of Patong but easy to walk to when you want a bit more noise. Perfect locale.
I was recouperating from surgery at this hotel and it was my first stay here. I cannot fault any aspect of the hotel at all. If I had to be picky it would be that the controls for the aircon seem to be non existent in that it's always too cold regardless off how much you increase the temp. This is my only complaint and one that was easily dealt with by switching the aircon off when it got a bit too cold. I can't wait to go back and see the lovely staff again.

Family holiday to Patong Beach, Phuket Thailand

Posted 15-Jul-2014
Pros: Great beds, mini-bar, excellent staff (except for a couple of bar keeps), comfortable rooms, nice atmosphere
Cons: Power issues, room air-conditioning (it would either be too hot or too cold).
Location: The Nap is located just off the main beach road in Patong. It's close to the beach, Bangla Road and JungCylon
We stayed for 13 nights at The Nap hotel in Patong. We realised that this was a small hotel, but it was a great stay. We arrived very late at night 1:30AM and our two adjoining rooms were ready for us. The hotel's included buffet breakfast, while not extensive was still very good with a made-to-order egg station. The hotel was always tidy and clean. There was a minor smell problem in our room which was resolved quickly by the hotel. Our only real issue was the inability to get a glass of wine that was available and on the menu by the glass - it seems that the bar staff could not open up a bottle of the wine but were waiting for some sort of cask of the same wine - it seemed that someone was just following the rules, but the one rule that was not followed was that the "customer is always right". Other than that issue there were a couple of night were the power did go off during a wind storm but that was fixed quickly by the hotel. The pool was lovely, but not a resort pool (no slides, etc...) . We used the gym facilities and they adequate. The restocked room mini-bar was a welcome attraction. I would recommend this hotel to people who don't want a resort and want to be away from the noise of the main streets in Patong.

close to the beach

Posted 29-Jun-2014
Pros: Service and the staff
Cons: Covered walk way between hotel and breakfast area for when it rains
Location: arranged van for the day and provide with a driver that spoke English and new where to take us
Hotel staff very friendly and could not do enough for you, Breakfast staff new our names and room no after a couple of days very nice touch. The room cleaning lady Foo was great and room always cleaned well. Hotel close to the beach and close to the shops and beach although not in the middle of the madness of Patong. Looking forward to going back again

Nice location

I recommend this hotel to my friends and I also will stay at this hotel next time. But there are 2 building and the picture on the web is for the main building. I stayed at old room this time and it was totally different from their picture. It is better to check if the room is located in the main building or old one.
