Choose The Nap!

Posted 09-Oct-2014
What a great stay we had at The Nap! If you want to stay in Phuket, especially Patong, it's the place to choose. With only 2 minute walk to the beach, and 10 minutes to Bangla Road, it's a great location and very quiet. The hotel is virtually new and very well presented The staff are amazing and very friendly and will help in anyway possible! The food was very well priced and excellent! Your greeted by all the staff all the time! We didn't want to leave! Will be back for sure!

Excellent value for money

Posted 08-Oct-2014
Pros: Basically everything. The open space lobby concept was brilliant.
Cons: Some water left on the hallway floor at the guest room level in heavy rain. It could be slippery.
Location: Northern end of Patong Beach. It's not super busy area, but close enough to the town centre and all the business you can think of in Patong.
A new building with all facilities well functioning. Hiring towels for day tours at the reception is good. You can take out umbrellas when it's raining outside. High speed WIFI throughout the hotel. Nice and well-kept swimming pool. Superb buffet breakfast 6.30-10.30AM. With more than one B50/kg laundry services around the hotel, washing is never a problem. Seafood restaurants within walking distance. Patong Beach is 5 mins walk down the road.

Modern style, close to the Patong Beach

Posted 27-Sep-2014
Very modern looking resort, and very centrally located in the Patong area of Phuket Thailand. 5 minute walk to beach. 12 minute walk from Bangla street "red light" district. ** very important ** Despite the modern resort amenities, there is a section of the building that is stuck behind the neighboring hotel! This small part of the Nap resort has [[NO]] view of Beach NOR of the beautiful Nap resort pool. Insist on a room overlooking the resort pool! ! ! In the off season of September we paid $15 US dollars more per night for a beautiful room. Very friendly staff. Luxurious resort dining room overlooks large reflecting pool with a rock wall styled water fall... nice to enjoy with the complimentary breakfast! Modern and relaxing spa at the resort. Resort pool open early at 6am and remains open until 11pm. Very good Value!

Ok hotel walking distance to most things

Posted 16-Sep-2014
I went 2 years ago and stayed in the sea Patong which was the sister hotel to Nap. So this time wanted to book Nap as it was nicer but was disappointed to find I was staying in the same room but they had just become the nap so I did not get what I expected and they did not specify this change and that the rooms would be actually from the sea Patong. Otherwise staff were nice and was in walking distance of the beach, jungcelon and bangla road.

Easy Access to beach & on the quite corner

Posted 23-Aug-2014
I was on our honeymoon and stayed at NAP Patong for 7 nights . Our overall stay was OK. Hotel lobby area looks stunning. Breakfast was Ok but the overall menu could be improved in comparison with breakfast available at competitors menu. Room was comfortable but house keeping needs improvement. I guess we had one person doing house keeping for the whole block which was time consuming. The location is very easy for beach access. Its on the other side of Bangla Road so not as busy or crowded as places near Bangla road would be. As I booked this hotel well in advance I got the good rates but otherwise I will suggest other travellers to search hard before making their choice as there are plenty of them available.

Great hotel, quiet end of town.

Posted 17-Aug-2014
Pros: That it was close to the beach and easily within walking distance of everything, but at the quiet end of town. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Cons: Clean bedding, room lights should have all been operating before we arrived and not fixed the day we left. Consistency of alcohol in cocktails.
Location: Close to the beach, seafood restaurants and within walking distance of all the main attractions e.g Bangla Rd, shopping and massage shops.
Pros - close to the beach but at the quiet end of town away from the hussel and bussel of Bangla Rd, good views of the pool (we were in room 405), great breakfast selection every morning, very friendly and helpful staff, close to an array of great seafood restaurants on the main road, easily within walking distance of everything including Jungceylon shopping centre, Bangla Rd, and the beach, great sized room and balcony, good sized pool, late check out is 12:00pm, good for families as there were lots there during our stay which did make the pool area quite noisy at times. Cons - bed underlay was stained which you could see through the sheet, this was replaced once I notified hotel staff, cocktails we ordered by the pool had no or very little alcohol in them compared to what we ordered at the bar, lights in the wardrobe and bathroom were broken and weren't fixed until the day we left, level four has no views of the beach it is blocked out by trees, didn't receive the complementary drink and hot towel upon arrival and reception forgot to return our passports after photocopying them,

Amazing hotel.

Posted 10-Aug-2014
This hotel exceeded our expectations. Beautiful hotel (slightly aged in some areas where guests don't go) with great staff and an incredible buffet breakfast plus everything in the hotel room mini bar was free which we have never seen before. If it wasn't for this hotel being so good we may have had a crappy holiday. The pool is small but it didn't bother us.

friendly staff and clean room

Posted 30-Jul-2014
Pros: They are very environmental friendly, you can opt to save the world without cleaning of our bed sheet thru out the stay of 3 days..
very pleasant stay in this hotel with very friendly staff. the drinks in the fridge is free and they will top up every day .. but of course we did not take those sugar drinks but we really appreciate what they have given. Clean and nice hotel..
