“Great area - good times! I'll be back!”
Right near the D-Backs and Rockies spring training stadium, near Fifth Avenue shopping, great weather, great golfing. Fantastic mesquite grill restaurant on property, friendly and helpful staff. Top-notch in my book!
“Great Property”
Everything about my stay was great. The staff was awesome as were the grounds. My room was spacious and very comfortable. I will stay there again !!
“Enjoyable resort”
The Scottsdale Plaza Resort is nice, and not too far from the center of Scottsdale. The pool is great, but wouldn't work if you don't have a car for transportation.
“quite nice hotel”
Hotel was O.k .Nice view, beautifull swimming pool, comfortable conferernce rooms. They were expensive on internet sevice(13$ a day!),shuttle from airport and they didn't offer couresy coffee even if we paid for many hotel rooms during conference.I can still recomend this place.
“Good stay”
Very nice, loosely populated resort with convenient swimming pools and Jacuzzis in a perfect location. We had a spacious villa suite and it was very quiet. They have a convenient restaurant JD's, but we did not try their high level restaurant because there is such a wide selection of good food in Scottsdale. The breakfast was not exiting and we usually went to Wildflowers Bakery just across the street since it anyhow was not included in the price and the Wildflowers had free Wifi connection. A little bit annoying were the additional costs like Wifi, PC usage, resort fee etc. The personnel was mostly very friendly and helpful with the exception of one not very helpful lady at the concierge desk.
“NEVER AGAIN”
1 bar of soap for 2 adults, no washcloths, low lighting, charges for Internet use, empty 1600 foot gym, our original room was outlying, we changed rooms twice before we unpacked, once they put us in a regular room, we paid for a suite. the shower was very low almost sunken, when you drew the shower curtain there was very little light. the shower had no shelf for a bar of soap. no mouthwash. when we got home, they charged our credit card $26.37 for a package of toiletries that we did not even open. they do not mention that there is a charge for them, unless you turn them over to see the price! II used the Beauty Salon and was quoted 20% off of any of their services. When I went to pay the bill, I was charged separately $65. for a shampoo, plus an additional $65 for a color. i expected they would wash my hair after having it colored without an addditional charge, which was never mentioned.
“A Gem”
Wonderful place, great value for the price.
“Impressive Resort - Great Food if you can find a waitress!!”
Nice place to stay, Most everything was well above average. The only downfall at this facility was the completely unorganized chaos of the waistaff in the bar/restaurant. There was no hostess for seating and no system in place to service the customers. Customers were standing at the entrance uncertain if they should seat themselves or if it was self seating. When you did sit, service was sporadic at best, and almost non-existant in the worst case scenario. The food itself was excellent when it arrived and the prices were very moderate for the high quality of the food. Again, the waitstaff needs direction and training.
“Excellent, we will definately go back,”
Very nice resort, everyone was very pleasant and helpful with directions if we needed them. They gave us a room that was within a few feet of a swimming pool which the kids. ages 9,13 and 13, loved. We would definatley stay there again.
“Better food than the 5 star hotels in Scottsdale!”
Very comfortable room with separate sleeping and living quarters and small patio. Ate at the pool and in-room dining and food was good. I have stayed at two 5-star hotels in Scottsdale and the food and service was better at Scottsdale Resort. Good selection of movies to watch. Nice surroundings for walking.
