“Convenient & comfortable”
The hotel is very central & convenient for shopping & restaurants The rooms are comfortable & the beds are nice & soft. The bathrooms maybe a bit old but it is very clean & it has a kitchenette with a fridge & ironing board. It's like a resort on the grounds with pool & tennis courts Will go back
“No Heat”
The temperature was in the 30's when we arrived and the room had no heat due to HVAC malfunction.
“So much less than expected”
Not enough hot water every night; Bed lining's feather ribs were poking through, like sleeping on sharp bamboo sticks, simply awful; Everything is dated from carpets to towels; Resort fees were extra, even though Expedia booking suggested it was included. Maybe my fault but an annoying problem to be sorted out for both the hotel and Expedia; Staffs were good, excellent free internet connection and didn't charge for phone calls including ones to Canada; Great location, nice ground and pool. But the first two problems are so unforgivable that I can't recommend this location in a city full of other choices.
“Good value”
A good value for the price. Room seemed very old, but clean & a comfortable bed.
“Ok”
I travel a lot for pleasure and work. I thought this hotel was nice in the sense in where it was located in Scottsdale, and the choices you had in what kind of room you would like. My first room had a weird smell but they were more then willing to move me right away. The second issue was I was told a payment was just a deposit for incidentals but when I checked out they charged me it and they said o no it's was explained to you wrong but the hotel is working with me to fix the miss communication . So overall it was a great experience and a descent location.
“Cottage Luxury”
It's a little odd to check in and then have to drive a 1/2 mile to where the rooms are located, but it's worth it. The Jr. Suite is essentially a one bedroom, one story condo. Beds are down-topped and thus very cozy. Kitchen and hot tub(mine was empty and off limits, but it's winter!) make a nice touch.
“Great for the price”
Great location and comfortable stay. It is a bit outdated, but rather nice. Lacking wireless internet but otherwise i was very pleased. It worked for me for a 3 day stay by myself.
“This place should be called a motel”
As soon as I opened the door, it smelled like mold and mildew. The a/c and heating didn’t work; the tube was old and had horrible caulking around the drain, behind the toilet I saw black mold on the wall paper. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
“My favorite hotel!”
I always have a good experience here. A great value as well.
“Cottonwoods Resort”
When I checked in I was upgraded. The casita was very roomy, so I even extended my stay.
