Old motel, not a hotel

Posted 22-May-2015
This a very large complex that is a motel not a hotel. It was cheap but we would not stay again. This place is old but refurbished. We stayed in mid may and it was mostly empty. The restaurant hours were short and it was hot and muggy. The free breakfast was not very good.

Hotel staff seemed shady. Funny smell in the room. Felt unsafe. Lacked cozy, home feel. Large rooms. Nice bath soaps; towels too small. Breakfast disappointing.

Just OK

Same food every morning. Staff was rude. Facilities definitely need TLC. OK for the price. A step up from Super 8.

A/C wasn't working very well

Posted 09-May-2015
Pros: Clean. Staff was very friendly.
Cons: Turn on the A/C!
I stayed here in early May. Thankfully the weather was only in the 80's, but the room was uncomfortably warm. I don't think the A/C came on once while we were there despite us turning the thermostat as low as it would go. We ended up having to open the windows. Overall I felt like the hotel was fine - a little bit older, but clean. However, no A/C in Phoenix drops my review score to a 3/5.

This only became a ramada recently,

Posted 26-Apr-2015
Pros: Room size
Cons: Beds
Location: Food on site was good. no food within walking distance. On site pool.
This ramada was not upto ramada standards yet. The ramada name signs were not immediately in site. Coming off hwy 60 I missed it due to poor signage.

horrible experience

Posted 22-Apr-2015
will never stay at a ramada inn again or at least not this ramada inn. Hotel staff was conniving and not very friendly. We asked to check in early cuz we had a wedding to get ready for after having driven six hours and they made us pay unexpected fees. Thankfully we only stayed one night cuz I will never stay here again

Comfortable and quiet

Posted 21-Apr-2015
Pros: It was extremely convenient and peaceful setting.
Cons: Bedding and towels.
Location: We had access to everything, freeways to get to shopping restaurants and wedding venue.
We were in Mesa for a wedding and enjoyed the pool and patio. The staff was outstanding especially Sergio at breakfast each day and Steve offered excellent service when we ordered food by the pool. The only drawback was the condition of the rooms. The chair in our room was falling apart, the bath towels were threadbare and inadequate and the bedding needs an upgrade (use standard pillows, not square throw illows). Hopefully Ramada will realize the potential if they improve the grounds and room accommodations.

Night Clerk

Posted 16-Apr-2015
Pros: Staff, safety, pool area, cleanliness, comfortable bed
Location: Also called Dobson Ranch, was really easy to find, off the freeway. the food was great.
Night Clerk was wondrfully friendly with a great sense of humor. We were so relieved to settle in our room after a long day to get there.
