“excelent service!”
people who work there are very nice, they make you feel so comfortable and the hotel is not expensive and they take you to the airport for free! love that!
“Depends on what you want...”
This is a basic hotel that is close to the airport and close to major routes to get to any part of the city and its attractions. The room was clean but the service was inconsistent. If you want luxury this is not the place for you.
“No Go at the Ho Jo!!!”
This hotel is overpriced and looks nothing like the photos displayed on expedia. It's rundown & smelly. The only positive thing is that the staff were pleasant. It is advertised as Airport/Downtown, it is close to the airport and no where near downtown. Think twice about staying here.
“Close to airport”
It was a nice place to stay. It was very convenient to be able to park my car at the hotel while I was out of town. The room was spacious with a microwave and refrige. The breakfast was good and Andy made sure it was restocked. I would definitely stay here again.
“Please Leave!”
With a hotel with what seemed 4 rooms rented out, it seems all they want is to get whatever few clients they do have to leave as soon as possible. I checked in Saturday night (rather rude receptionist by the way; was probably the owner), and Sunday morning I had room service knocking on my door at 7 am. And then they called my room about two hours later, and then about an hour after that, and then once more, an hour after that. Yes, to see if I had left the room and they could come in and make the room. Four calls total!!! Unbelievable!!! They don't care about your business, your comfort, nothing... Really shabby! Really rude! Dont go there! Better buys in the area for the money!
“WOULD NOT RECOMMEND”
Would not stay at this hotel again. After letting the hot water run 25 minutes, we still did not get hot water in the room. Spoke to the manager and he apologized but made no attempt to correct the problem or to make compensation for the fact that we did not have hot water. Disappointed with Howard Johnson, had expected a better class of hotel.
“Wouldn't stay here again”
This hotel is in serious need of remodeling. Although it had great air conditioning, a necessity in Phoenix, the room was extremely outdated and dingy. This hotel is in a part of town that I feel uncomfortable driving through. I would never have booked it if I had known that. The only good thing about it was that it was only 5 minutes from the airport, and we had an early morning flight to catch.
