“2011 Golf Trip”
Second consecutive year to stay at this hotel and will book it again next year. We go to Phoenix each December for a guys golf trip and this hotel is ideal. Close to many courses and an In-n-Out burger is just down the street. The free happy hour is outstanding with the staff being extremely friendly.
“cheap, clean, a lot to eat and drink”
Clean, having breakfirst, drinking at pool site, and kitchen in room. Good even for long stay.
“Not happy at all with my stay”
at night the A/C was set on Neutral i was hot as sweatly, people running in and out all night, people out side the room was very load and up past 3am. Resturant food was ok but not impressed the girl bar tender had a bad attatude. the only thing good i can say about the place is that they had an "happy hour" with free drinks for half hour.
“A good choice for Scottsdale”
A somehow little older hotel but quite convenient in locattion. And you cannot beat the price. Service was without problems. Rooms clean and comfortable. Just wished people people would be a little more considerate when walking by your door at night. Since the hotel is quite big noise can be a problem.
“good value for the money”
We had stayed here a few years ago and comparing it to last time were a little disappointed that the room was not kept updated. It is showing it's age with tile coming loose below shower door, trim on divider with parts missing etc. Other than that, the service was good, the room was very clean, the free made to order breakfasts were good also. The staff were very helpful.
“Very nice.”
Staff at hotel were very friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned everyday and the bed was fresh, clean and comfortable.
“Good breakfast”
Really! Other reviewers have been kind. This hotel is NOT a 3 star hotel. "Resort" is certainly a misnomer. It's OLD and looks/feels that way. Needs huge capital investment. However, the breakfast and staff were good.
“Very satisfied”
Very friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast, poolside party with free drinks at happy hour. Bed was comfortable, hotel itself looked VERY nice :)
“yearly visit”
stay in this hotel every year in Oct for 2 wks..will be back next year hopefully
“A bit disappointing”
While there are some good things about this hotel, like the full complimentary breakfast, I think most people will be let down, like I was, by the age and condition of the rooms. You should be very aware that a "junior suite" is not a suite at all but rather a small, cheap room with inadequate light. Upon seeing the room I had apparently (and I guess naively) booked I immediately agreed to pay $20.00 more per night for a real suite which turned out to be a small 1 br condo and about what I had expected at the lower price. I stayed for 3 nights and was actually fairly comfortable there. I would not, however, recommend this hotel as a place to take your significant other on vacation.
