“Hospitality Plus”

I appreciated the hospitality I received when checking in late (past Midnight) and was told I could parrallel park in the hotel parking lot right out in front of the hotel. As a woman traveling alone, I did not like the prospect of having to walk to the hotel alone, in the dark, late at night from the parking garage down the street from the hotel, which happens to be across the steet (2nd St.) from an adult botique. In addition to the hospitality, the food in the on-site restaurant was DELICIOUS.

Area recommendations

The neighborhood that is close to Phoenix Children's Hospital because it makes frequent visits to the hospital more amenable.

“Nearly perfect”

Everything was great except the off-site parking across the street from an adult botique..... after dark, rather scary neighborhood to be walking alone from parking garage to hotel.

Area recommendations

Not familiar enough with downtown Phoenix area to recommend a neighborhood. I came down to visit my grand-daughter who was having surgery @ Phoenix Children's Hospital. NOT a pleasure trip, for sure.

“Would stay there again for sure”

This hotel was very nice. The room was beautiful and clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. After a long day of travel, not having to worry about anything was great. We were fairly close to the airport, an easy drive. Overall, this hotel was GREAT! The only downfall was arriving late and we had a tough time finding food after 10pm.

“Perfect for an overnight stay”

If you need a place to crash for the night this is perfect. It is two minutes from St Josephs Hospital, which is why I booked it. Perfect for my needs. A nice bonus is that they have a restaurant in the hotel as well as room service. The staff is friendly and helpful. Honestly, no complaints. I will definitely use them again!

“this place was useful”

This was, I thought, a 3 & 1/2 star Inn. Neat, comfortable. I was only in town for 2 days. This Holiday Inn was convenient and reasonably priced. There are familiar named restaurants within a long walk or short car ride away. I spent most of my time in my room watching TV on what looked to be a 32in Flat screen. A very low key trip but got the job done and this place was useful.

You can order food from a restaurant on the premises to have in your room or you can dine at the restaurant (they serve breakfast too) . Unfortunately for me my experience with their food wasn’t good. I had to send back part of my meal which I found incredibly salty. The main meal was a well meant but decidedly over zealous sandwich whose meat content, I thought, could’ve fed a party of three. I’m not into overly generous portions.

“A good economic choice for downtown Phoenix”

Check-in was easy. My room was nice and clean and comfortable with a good TV and desk area. Bar and restaraunt are adequate, but need improvement. The Staff were very friendly and helpful with directions. The hotel is a bit far from downtown, but the light rail makes it very convenient to get to downtown and the convention center and to the airport. There was no need to take taxi to the airport. The business center computer needs to be replaced and it needs more than one computer.

Phoenix's downtown is very nice and clean. It's obvious that the city has worked hard to develop its downtown around the convention center. Nice restaraunts - especially Thai Elephant.

“Good, reliable & convenient hotel”

“nice holiday inn....”

as atated above great stafff,,locale,and nice hotel.....just neede a drink and couldnt find a bartender for two days!!!...but all in all would recommend.
