Poor quality of rooms

“Ramada Inn at Metro Center”

My stay at the Ramada was a pleasant one despite the hotel undergoing major renovations. The lobby was noisy and dusty from renovations, however the hotel staff was always pleasant and helpful, my room was always clean and my overall stay was satisfactory.

“Massive Remodeling Hotel is a mess”

This hotel is rated as a 2 1/2 star, however right now it is in terrible shape and messy. It is being remodeled throughout and you are literally staying in a construction zone. The carpets are filthy, there is construction dust everywhere, the pool is empty and the yard is filled with garbage. There is construction going on throughout the day, so it is impossible to sleep. There were workers right outside our two story window applying a compound that was so smelly we could not stay in the room. The room itself was clean except for the carpets, but the rest of the hotel was awful. Once the construction is done, this will probably be a nice hotel, but now it is false advertising to list it as a 2 1/2 star.

Oh Well.... the hotel was getting a face lift.... looked like a bomb went off.... but thankfully our room was great..... clean and spacious... will be back.

“Half n half”

Room was really nice. Major construction going on loud at sometimes driveway is very inconvient because of overhau. Worst of all at check in the lady says she needs a credit card on file even tho I already paid for the room for security reasons I told her I don't like the idea but ok as long as you don't charge my account and what do the do charge my account so now I am fighting to get my money back ASAP with having to wait and well have to wait needless to say on was on a budget and this issue wound up screwing me. So if you can get away from the on file credit card do it if not go alil further south and find a better hotel I will never stay at a ramada again

“Construction Nightmare”

I stayed here a year ago and was happy with the hotel, so I decided to stay there again. I wish I hadn't. They are undergoing a massive remodeling and construction all over the hotel. The pool and hot tub were closed as well as the lounge. I did not see a continental breakfast as they did last year, which was in the lounge at that time. Also the room was fairly clean, with the exception of the floor. I walked around in my white socks which quickly became black from the dirty floor. Once the construction is complete this may be a very nice place to stay, but the lack of information on the website about the current conditions was very disappointing.

“Construction Zone m- should be closed”

As of Oct. 2011 this hotel is under MAJOR renovations. Is an active construction zone and thus has all the noise and dirt associated with that. I had to duck under scaffolding to get in the door nearest my room. Throughout the first floor there were missing roof panels with wires hanging out and sheet rock dust everywhere. The outside of the building was completely covered in scaffolding and the windows were in cased in plastic. The advertised in your room wireless was good to the room just before you got to my room, in other words wireless in the room was not throughout. They need to advertise that this is the condition of the hotel until they get further along in their renovations. Can't wait to see what it looks like in a year, but until then will not be back.

“Welcome to the construction zone”

Hotel surrounded by scaffollding and work crews, dust from sheet rock all through, even the road in 1 single lane and dangerous. Staff stated they have been renovating for 4 years. The swimming pool was way too hot.

“Ramada Plaza Glendalen”

The area is a bit of a worry. Park you car in sight of your room. It was under construction at the time and likely do to it people were standing around in the parking lot. Also due to the low price it appears some have camped out here for some time. After renovation this will be a fantastic place
