“Extremely Nice Hotel, Excellent Value”

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon because we wanted a reasonabley priced hotel that was still nice. We were not disappointed. The staff was incredabley friendly and helpful. The pool area and hot tub were extremely well kept, our room was very clean and nice and anything we asked for was provided with a smile. The hotel is also convientley located near multplie great places to eat, a vert large mall, and multiple entrances to highways and main thorough fairs so it made it very easy for us to get around the area all week. I would go back to this hotel with out thinking twice about it.

Area recommendations

If you go to Tempe you must check out Mill Ave. It has lots of neat shops and eatiers and every Thursday evening is Music on Mill with live music is free on the streets.

Must see

If in the Tempe area I would highly recommened the Air Force Museum in Mesa AZ, only a 10minute drive from Tempe. If you are an adventure seeker try skydiving at Grand Casa Airport in Grand Casa. Phoenix Area Skydiving is the best company with highly trained professionals and a great rate. We loved it so much we scheduled a 2nd jump before we left the area.

Dining

If you like good diner food check out the 5 and Diner. It has a great 50's feel with juke boxes at every table that work and amazes burger and fries. For a NY deli in Tempe you have to go to Chompie's. It is located downtown on University drive and has the best breakfast and lunch in the city. They have traditional NY deli food from potato pancakes, to mile high pastrami sandwhiches on rye bread, bagels, cannoli's, etc. Incredabley good food at a great price.

“Beautiful hotel”

This hotel was very nice. Clean, nice continental breakfast and easy access for all the places we wanted to go. Will definitely stay here on on our next family trip to Tempe!

“EXTREMELY HELPFUL STAFF”

One of the only hotels where the staff was not only pleasant and accommodating, but also offered to assist us in ways we didn't expect. (Example: while answering our questions on directions about returning our rental car to the airport, and using the Hotel's free shuttle to return, the staff member at the front desk offered to print out the boarding passes for our return flight on the following day.)

“Not too bad.”

“Great Deal”

Location was close to family, convinent shopping, and good food. The hotel staff was friendly and the breakfast was wonderful. We would stay there again.

“Lihed the hotel, not the staff”

The hotel was good. we liked our room. but had problems and issues. Said they have a 24hr shuttle. This is not true. They have hourly shuttle. But would not pick us back up from the airport for two hours in the Phoenix heat. Ended up taking a cab to get our car back from the hotel! Staff was not apologetic. Would not give us a number to talk to hotel manager, would not call for us. DO NOT USE FOR PARK AND RIDE!!!!

“Good but not great”

For the most part the hotel was ok. The air conditioning was noisy and had to run at top speed all night in order to keep us cool enough. Breakfast was ok but some times they were very slow in refilling the eggs/sausage, etc. Everyone of the people who worked there was very nice. One night they had cookies as a snack - not sure why they didn't have them every night. I might stay here again but would probably look for another place if available. Definately would not stay a whole week.

“Very comfortable.”

Was not the hotel Expedia had pictured but it was fine considering I was only in the room for 8 hours. Tons of space.

Area recommendations

Tempe because there's a nightlife or Scottsdale because it's less ghetto.

The AZ Mills mall is about 1/ of a mile away.

There's an awesome pool hall close by and the trendy hangout street next to ASU is close.
