Overall OK
Not a bad hotel for the price. The biggest issue is that this hotel is used by tour groups so most mornings there would be multiple buses full of tourists going in and out.
The first room was situated in between rooms. I asked to change rooms with some natural light as I was staying 4 days. The next day I was given a room with a balcony facing the main road. The breakfast was good except for the yogurt it was off. The staff were friendly, accomodating and helpful.
Lift spoilt, got a room with shower head spoilt, no hangers, toilet door not working well, area not many choices of food, some receptionist are not helpful, room service people cannot speak English, not organised
Good location and close to eateries. Bathroom needed upgrading as water pressure was all over the place and shower door was extremely hard to slide open. Breakfast which was included in the room price was good with a choice of Asian or western. Staff were very helpful.
The staff are very freindly, i never got up for the breakfast but i heard it was good. There is a chinese sky bar next door can get really noisey until 2am sometimes but not every night. Also you can hear the bass from pontoon on occasion. The AC was very good the bed was great the TV good. Wifi was also good. Bed and room comfy and clean. overall a very nice hotel. only downside was the night porter thinking my wife was a bar girl , we did check in togther so i dont know why he said such things. i complained and it didnt happen again.

Just next neighbor building, there is a restaurant where music band played
In dinner time, but their sound are very loud and disturb to sleep some times. But nice played

Stayed here twice - beginning and end of two weeks in Cambodia. Both rooms were spacious and clean. Air con worked well. Mattresses were hard but that's normal for SEasia. Staff were pleasant and helpful. 15 min walk to river front and Royal Palace. 10 mins or less to centralmarket. Two great restaurants opposite hotel. Romdeng was amazing as French restaurant was great as well.

Hotel close to Royal Palace
This hotel has different sized rooms and you experience will really dependent on which room you will get.
The first night we had a tiny room with a window opening out to the hallway. Then we moved up to the 8 th
floor and it was like a different world.
Wonderful location. Walking distance to central market and Shopping Mall. Glad to be attended by very friendly and nice staffs during my stay in the hotel. The room is very clean and the condition is excellent. I will definitely come back again.
3 star hotel service at budget price, reception helpful and able to communicate in English, room amenities is basic but clean, Mr Borith-front office manager makes me feel welcome and share with me interesting places to visit and where to eat etc . Nearby is the Central market, interesting place but have to be careful though

A little disappointing
Overall the hotel was acceptable, the staff were very nice and accommodating, the unfortunate part was the fact that there was construction next door which was noisy all day, even worse was the constant thumping music from a nearby nightclub until 6am which made it very hard to sleep. I realize that this is out of the hotels control, however, I feel that guests should be made aware on check in and provide earplugs.
In total, spent 4 nights here during a 1 week stay. Nice clean & comfortable hotel, good breakfast. Central market is just 4 minutes walk from hotel and there are some nice restaurants in the vicinity.
Hyatt style, but budget price, close to markets and restaurants with lots within walking distances. Excellent breakfasts. Staff which could speak english. One of the best hotels we stayed in, on our 5 week trip to Indochina.
Nice hotel with a clean room and a good breakfast. I was glad I had brought along my earplugs to deaden the sound of the band at the nearby bar. However, the noise didn't seem to bother my husband's sleep.
Only dislike were the showers. Warm water not hot showers. For some reason our floors kept flooding a little but that was due to the tub/shower combo. Shower only had no issues. Would stay again. Close to sorya shopping center and other attractions.
Really enjoyed my time at Cardamom. I would highly recommend staying there. The hotel offers great value for the money. The hotel is clean and comfortable
Very pleasant city hotel, although located in a rather grubby street, the hotel itself is very nice and well located to the Central Market. Royal Palace and National Museum. It is also close to the main tourist area with plenty of restaurants and bars and only a sort walk to the waterfront at Sisowath Quay. Decent buffet breakfast with good selection of western items. Staff were very helpful and efficient. I e-mailed them to arrange to send a taxi/pick-up bus from the airport on my arrival and they replied immediately and a driver was there to meet me as arranged.
In the middle of the city. Good for night life. A bar complex behind the hotel. Has ok breakfast and good wi in the lobby. Staff is not too plesant at times.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff helpfull and good location.

Good hotel but bad restaurant
Hotel was great but the food was bad, great for vegeterian but the rest will not enjoy the breakfast. And coffee was non-drinkable. If you dont mind to eat somewhere else (lot of places around the hotel about 20 second walking and half the price) then thats the place for you
Cardamom Hotel was set in a superb location in the centre of Phnom Penh. The staff were extremely helpful, with all staff trying to practise there language skills. The hotel was very clean and the hotel offered a brilliant breakfast with a wide variety. The rooms were of a reasonable size and offered a comfort and clean base.
Facilities: Nice; Value: Economical; Service: Outstanding; Cleanliness: Spotless;
They were very helpful when my phone went missing in the lobby. Management tracked down the phone and recovered it for me and held it safe for collection. Very impressive.

It wa not a nice experience ever,I had been told that I can’t check in when I reached the hotel...it seems the hotel didn’t get the reserved information from Hotels.com ...but the manager gave a excuse that the room has been damaged by the typhoon yesterday.....there was just a rain yesterday okay?....although he was kindly arranged my room in the other hotel...but it was totally a different standard f me...felt so badly that I was wordless that moment coz I was so tired...
Even I sent Hotels.com a msg...but I didn’t get any reply until now...disappointed with that too
Le personnel de l'hotel est très sympathique et amicale. Ma chambre était un peu petite mais avait un balcon ,ce qui est agréable .Par contre elle aurait mérité d'etre remis a neuf=il y avait la poigné d'un des tiroirs qui était cassé, le petit bureau était tout rayé ,ainsi que la porte de l'armoire qui était sur le bas un peu fendu. Le lit était cependant confortable. Le plus gros problème venait de la connexion internet qui avait de la peine a dépasser les 1Mb/s ce qui est quand meme très très lent surtout en 2019...JE n'ai pas non plus aimé le fait que les visiteurs soient facturé 5 dollars (d'autant plus qu'ils n'ont meme pas accès aux breakfast alors que j'ai payé une chambre et un breakfast pour 2 personne).
