Room in Old Lodge claustrophobic, with cheap dated furniture. Depressing atmosphere. Would recommend pressing on to Boothbay instead.

Our annual trip

Posted 07-Jul-2015
Pros: The history was fun to read about and the Main lodge had some of the original furniture.
Cons: It would be nice if we were able to rent kayaks free of charge or maybe even fishing poles.
Location: We loved Popham Beach.
We had a great time, many thing to enjoy. The kids had activities to do and we were able to relax knowing they had fun. The fireworks were great, and we were able to see the owner on a few occasions which was nice.

Beautiful resort with so much to offer!

Posted 06-Jul-2015
Pros: There was so much to do with our family, which made it easy for everyone to have a good time!
Location: We selected this resort because of its proximity to Popham, but there's so much to do here we didn't even end up leaving the resort!
Our vacation to the Sebasco Harbor Resort was a last-minute, spontaneous decision we are so happy we made! We stayed here for two nights over the Independence Day holiday weekend. The resort had so much for us to do as a family with two children (ages 7 and 9). The saltwater pool overlooking the ocean was a favorite, of course. We also played basketball and croquet and enjoyed several hours at the Quarter Deck enjoying candlepin bowling, pool, ping-pong, foosball, shuffleboard and more. The resort staff also had several special activities such as campfires w/ s'mores and a sing-a-long, face painting, arts & crafts and tie-dying t-shirts. The staff were all very friendly and courteous. The wonderful veteran who works at the Quarter Deck was particularly pleasant and kind to everyone who entered. The food at The Ledges Pub was absolutely delicious! My children typically split one kids meal and have food leftover, but they each got their own meals here and ate every last crumb. And the view from the Pub is beautiful as well. We also enjoyed an evening ice cream at the Patio Cafe. The resort itself is beautiful with stunning views and nice landscaping, which makes the easy walk from place-to-place even more enjoyable. The gazebo makes for a nice place to sit and relax and soak up the surroundings. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We stayed on the second floor of the Main Lodge. We have already recommended Sebasco to friends and hope to make a return trip very soon!

Great waterviews

Terrific water views from both restaurants in for many parts of the grounds. This is a terrific casual resorts for families or couples. It is also close to Popham Beach perhaps the best sandy beach in Maine. Terrific water views from both restaurants in for many parts of the grounds. Check out North Creek Farm right when you turn off towards the resort, great sandwiches and more.

Bel environnement, plusieurs activités sur le site

Posted 30-Jun-2015
Cons: Air climatisée dans les chambres
Très agréable et reposant. Atmosphère du Pub agréable, choix de repas varié a un coût abordable. 2e resto augmente le choix pour les repas avec une belle vue sur le soleil couchant.

Sebasco stay Oct 14

Posted 28-Oct-2014
Pros: The scenery and rooms with a view.
Cons: The lighting in the pub makes you feel like you're eating in a school dining room. More flexibility to the indoor games area.
Location: We did some walking, had nine holes of golf and took the 1 1/2 hour boat trip which was well worth it and drove into Bath.
The rooms were pleasant and had great views. The heating in our room didn't work and wasn't able to be fixed. We were given some fans but I felt a discount would have been more appropriate. The two dining options are pretty good. Mike who runs them was excellent and really on the ball. There was extensive breakfast buffet which was very good value and we ordered a sandwich for lunch that came with all the trimmings which we shared between three of us. In terms of location I thought there would be more near by so were ready to set off after a couple of nights. We were hoping to play table tennis as the weather wasn't a bit overcast and although it was the last weekend of the season there was little flexibility on the access to the indoor games area which was disappointing.

Beautiful views

Posted 03-Oct-2014
Pros: We liked the views, the patio, and the Resturant.
Cons: Clean up the grounds so it looks loved.
Location: The walk to Seawell Beach wax beautiful..it's a four mile loop and worth it's! The Maritime Museum in Bath was wonderful..take the trolly tour.
At one time this hotel/resort must have been awesome. Unfortunately the grounds are in need of some TLC. Overgrown flower beds, crumbling concrete, and other signs of age detract from the possibilities. Breakfast at the lodge was wonderful. Food was delicious and served by friendly staff.

Lovely Place

It was a real treat! Lovely place, old world, great views. It reminded us of the coast of Sweden. It is a bit off the beaten path but then that is part of the charm.
