“Nice but amenities didn't work.”
Our room was nice, however our tv didn't work well and their Internet connection wasn't working which made working impossible. Our toilet didn't flush at first either but they fixed that. They also comped a day of parking and a movie for all the trouble.
“not impressed”
bad customer service for a sheraton ,no pool, internet is not free, parking is not include, ......sheraton is symbol of quality and i paid for a motel service....
“Will not stay here again”
One of the reasons for booking this hotel was so the kids could swim in the pool but the pool was not opened due to maintance on it. There was a problem with the heat and not only did it not work properly but made some really strange noises. The carpenting in the room was nasty and needs to be replaced. The beds were not that good either. I would not return to this hotel the next time I am in Philadelphia.
“I wont stay here again”
Small rooms, poor house keeping, what I would equil to a super 8
“Good night sleep and nice walks nearby”
Excellent, quiet room. Very easy to get on to highway. Close to shopping areas. Fitness area and pool weer under construction but still open.
“Expensive but comfortable”
Very nice hotel if you have the money, or someone else is paying for your stay. You have to pay nearly $40 per night for parking, one drink at the bar was $33 (!!!!!!!!), room service is expensive. Also, the surrounding neighborhood is pretty deserted at night, there is nowhere to eat except the hotel restaurant or bar. Besides the cost and location, it's a very high quality, extremely comfortable hotel.
“Rooms in dire need of a remodel.”
Dirty stained carpets, scratched wall paper, runned down bathroom, dirty tiles.
“Good hotel for the money”
Bit old and tired but clean and comfy, great location 2 minute walk from Logan Square and the Franklin museum.
“Decent area but not worth the money”
While staying in downtown Philadelphia is desirable there are several other options that are in overall more convenient areas. Also, the TV satellite did not work my whole 5 day and 4 night trip. When I called to inform the front desk of the issue I was told it was the satellite and they could not do anything about it. Then the ice machine on my floor did not work for the duration of my stay even after several calls. I reserved a single king but was told upon check-in that only double full-size beds were available, and was told again they could do nothing about it. And while the furniture in the rooms is nice the beds, the light fixtures and light switches looked as if they had not been cleaned in years. Overall, horrible stay and will never stay here again.
“Sheraton-City Center-good sleep”
The beds are plush and comfy. The bathroom is regular. The carpet in our room was a bit dingy but overall it was a spacious room. I called down to the front desk a few times with questions and each time the person was friendly and helpful. The pool area on the other definitley needs to be updated. It looks much better in the pictures.
