Crappy hotel -- Horror story about an incident Posted 09-Jun-2014
When I arrived there was a guest having a hard time getting into his room due to the card sensor not working. I discovered I had the same issue. Brian K. was nice enough, and quite apologetic. Asked if I had tried certain card tapping strategies and I ensured him I had and he hurried to get the issue fixed. Shortly after midnight my 2nd night, I asked the guy at the front desk if check out was at noon, which he confirmed. (I travel frequently and am used to noon check out times.) The next morning went for an outdoor run at 10:30 in order to leave enough time to shower, change and pack before noon check out. Upon my return at around 11:45 I found all of my belongings shoved in my bags & IN THE HALLWAY, UNATTENDED!! Obviously, I was not happy. Learned that check out was at 11, which was NOT what I had been told. Brian insisted he had tried calling my number several times but that it was going to some Dr's office. I asked that he double check and sure enough, he had looked up the WRONG person's # and he had my correct #! I had items still in the room and wanted to shower, then realized that they had hurried to get my stuff out of the room in order to renovate the bathroom. Are you kidding me?! They scheduled a renovation at 11 right after a guest's move out time and left no buffer time for delays?!? Insane. The housekeeping lady dug through and packed all my stuff, and I discovered that she had also removed the spare toilet roll I had packed. DO NOT STAY HERE!

We are terribly sorry that you were given the wrong information regarding our check out time and we could not reach you to inform you that we had scheduled your bathroom for renovation and it could not be rescheduled. Rest assured, we will make sure that the information about our check out time is posted in all our rooms, so guests can be guided accordingly.
