“Can't wait to go back”
We wanted to see the Independence Halla rea for our anniversary. The Omni was the perfect spot to stay. Its updated decor and cleanliness was a wonderful draw. The room was lovely and had a nice view. The bed was comfortable - the pillows were our only complaint. The location was perfect for visiting all of the history of Philadelphia, and also convenient to all of the great restaurants. The lounge in the hotel was perfect for an after dinner drink. The restaurant had an amazingly delicious and extensive Sunday brunch.
“Location AND Elegance!”
Really enjoyed Omni Independence Park. Can't be any closer than this to all of the historic charm and steps from great dining. Wish I'd had time for the spa! Very friendly staff. Would return in a heartbeat.
“Great place for a get away weekend”
Everything was great. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms felt luxurious. Great location for sightseeing. I wish we could have stayed more than 1 night. I would definitely go back.
“Extremely Disappointed”
When we arrived at 4pm our room wasnt ready. I said we'd take any room that was but they insisted that we wait. The next day, my husbad and went seperate ways and when I returned to the room my key card didnt work. I went to the main desk and explained. Of course she couldnt do anything so I had to get the manager. He refused since the card was for a different room and Expedia only put his name on the reservation. I showed my drivers license. I had him try caliing my husband on 2 different cell phones with messages that give his name. He still didnt want to let me in. Finallly, after I started to get upset and cry a little, I convinced him to let me describe things in the room to prove that they were mine because having the same last name, from the same state with both of his cell phone numbers wasnt enough. After he let me in he said he would send a bell-hop up to give me a new card. Not being able to leave for an hour I finally had to call down, talk to someone else and get a card sent up so I could leave. Later that day when I tried to take a shower the water kept turning to cold and made it difficult to wash my hair. Also, the room was very hot and we had a hard time cooling it down. I complained to a night manager about all this but all they gave us were a free drink at the bar and free juice in the morning. It would have been nice if the concierge were there to do her job. The cleaning staff and bell hops were EXTREMELY nice though.
“Outstanding!”
We only stayed one night, but wow was it an excellent hotel! Beautiful and convenient to everything in the historical area of Philadelphia.
“Can't wait to go back!”
We had a wonderful stay, everyone was very nice and truly cared about our comfort. Very clean, safe and quiet.
“Great experience”
The staff was completely professional, knowledgeable, pleasant, and welcoming. The location is very central to most of the historical sites and nearby restaraunts, and bars. You can stroll around surrounding blocks and not feel intimidated. This was a great experience overall and would definitely stay at The Omni again. Our room was clean and updated and didn't feel disgusted at all. Also, if you don't feel like leaving the hotel for any drinks you can lounge at the bar area for a nice tranquil atmosphere. Two thumbs up!
“Omni in Philadelphia”
Great location. Clean and convenient.
“Ideal setting for hotel”
Ideal location of hotel in centre of historical area of Phili. Very friendly hotel, excellent service. Had problem with the bath, water emptying slowly when showering, but staff attended to problem quite promptly. Enjoyed stay very much with many wonderful eating places close by.
“In the heart of it all”
This is the perfect location for seeing all the major attractions of philadelphia. It is surrounded by all different types of restuarants and nightlife is right down the block. The spa is beautiful and the room service was spectacular. My only complaints are that the pool in the hotel closes at 1 on sundays and 5 on holiday weekends. They should keep the pool open longer, because most attractions in philadelphia close at 5. I couldn't fit it all in. Parking is horrible in the area. You have to feed the meter every few hours or pay $37 a night for valet parking.
