“Hotel was great”
Hotel was great for Villanova. Also Hotel has an excellent restaurant.
“my expectations exceeded”
Reviews for other hotels near the King of Prussia Mall were very scary (bed bug references etc.) so I chose this Marriot based on it's reviews of excellent in the cleanliness category. Hotel lobby and entrance was being remodeled and had to enter hotel thru restaurant entrance. The front desk was just a table but the woman handling check in was very apologetic and attentive. They gave free Valet parking for the "inconvenience", although it really wasnt much of an inconvenience. Valets were very friendly and courteous. All was very, very nice. Breakfast at the restaurant "Shula's" was excellent and staff there also very attentive. Will definately stay there again and strongly recommend.
“Nice, but under renovation”
We would go back to this hotel, however, it was under renovations during our stay. Very comfortable room and bed, nice view. Unfortunately our room wasn't cleaned at all during our 3 night stay which was frustrating.
“Close to freeway to downtown Philadelphia”
Convenient, Friendly Staff, Nice Hotel
“Would go back in a heartbeat!”
The staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel beautiful and clean. Had the best sleep in a long time. Beds very comfortable!
“Great bed!”
Everything was great - and the bed was amazingly comfortable. I can't usually sleep in hotels, but went out like a light in that bed!
“Heather”
The stay was very comfortable, They charged for internet, as much as they charge for rooms it should have been free.
“Conshohoken. It's a funny name.”
It was a good hotel with very comfy beds. Includes all the bottled water you can drink and the big pretzels in the afternoon were a nice touch. Only one complaint: The internet on one of the computers was really slow and the business center was a little too small with only one computer.
“Very Comfortable ...”
We only stayed one night. We used Valet Parking, which made parking EASY! The Front Desk was very helpful. The taxi service we called (to go out to a show) was a 1/2 Hour late, so be warned. Free Soft Pretzels in the lobby. The bed in our room was very, very comfortable! The Breakfast Buffet was fantastic! We had difficulty using the TV, and I found a champagne cork on the floor of our room.
“Absurd gouging in the suburbs.”
Folks, This Marriott in the far Western Philadelphia suburbs is a fine hotel, make no mistake, but they are price gouging and misrepresenting their final prices by hiding a $12 a day parking charge. They even add it automatically to one's bill, even if one doesn't use their garage (with surprisingly small spaces, incidentally). What's more, their web site mistakenly claimed the charge was $3 a day, and when I complained I was treated extremely rudely by a smug desk clerk who simply repeated, ad nauseum, in a sing-song manner, that the charge is $12. I had to call the manager, who was also defensive at first and had to be convinced. This is not any way to run a hotel.
