I arrived at Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Philadelphia Airport on 18 June 2021, approximately 5PM. I go to the front door and was met by a lady who said all reservations was "CANCELLED". There was no early notification by hotel or by Expedia. The grounds looked liked no one serviced it in days. Would not booked this place again.

No shuttle
This hotel does not have a shuttle to the airport before about 8:30am, so is useless for early flights. I did not stay.

The room was terrible, the bathroom under the vanity where the drawers are the wood was all broken apart. Their was dirt on the floor. The tub didn't drain.

We had a great stay at the hotel convenient staff good. But... neighbors were loud across the hall when we got up next morning and were heading out to town there was a condom on the ground and trash around. People upstairs were very loud a lot of running (small children maybe). Over all stay was good and would stay there again very convenient for what we were doing.

Terrible conditions requested for a refund. Supervisor wants to give me a refund But stated Hotels.com have to contact them and request for a refund. Advised for Hotels.com to contact Hawthorne Suites by Wyndham. For a refund & he’ll gladly refund me for the stay.

The staff was nice, but they could not help me much at all. I didn't have a blanket for the pullout bed and they just said sorry. When asked if they could find one, they said they probably didn't have more and left it at that. They were helpful in helping me move rooms when one of our rooms had an insanely loud cricket in it. The pros are that it is close to the city with a 13-15 minute drive and it made our trip easier. The room wasn't the cleanest. There were an open bag of snack in the pullout bed and the bathroom was quite old with slight mold. Overall the staff is nice but they don't do their jobs well and the building is in decent condition considering the price. I was just hoping for it to be cleaner given covid.

the property is hard to find, even with GPS because they give the address as Penrose Ave. Actually, the entrance to the property is on Island Ave. The Tub/Shower faucet was broken, and I couldn't shower during my 3 day visit. They refused to send a plumber to fix the shower.

Disappointed asked for smoke free room and was upset when entering the room . Drove a half mile to nearest market to buy 2 freebreeze plugin just to freshen up the room

The room is dated. The TV stand doors was broken. The bathroom smelled like urine and the tub drain was broken and out of place. Very disappointed!!!!

This hotel has really went down, the hotel had roaches in it, the chairs were very dirty the refrigerator was dirty the carpet was dirty and it smelled like someone was in the room smoking. I have stayed there before and it was nothing like it use to be. I will never stay there again. I checked out and found another hotel near by

My first night was great but my 2nd night they gave me a bad room. The walls looked water damaged and were splitting in the room & also bathroom and stains in the rug and the receptionist both nights Had an attitude I think it’s a Philadelphia thing. Needs some updating

Don't do it...
This hotel is not in good condition at all. Come to find out, it lost its previous Mariott flag at that location because the condition was so degraded. Stains on chairs, couches, broken doors and questionable smells followed us through two rooms, trying to find one that was suitable. Thankfully after showing the manager pictures, she did remove one night's fee off my stay. But honestly, if you're looking for a decent hotel, this is not it. This location was once great, but since Hawthorne has taken it over, they have done NOTHING to replace damages furniture and carpeting. It is a run down hotel. Really a shame.

For my stay I honestly checked in and staff had an attitude the entire time I was in front of her no matter how much I smiled and tried to be polite. I walked up to my room the door appeared to have some marks on the frame as if someone tried to break into it but the door itself was secure. My room was clean for the most part. Bathroom small and out of date but it was useable. The room was okay for a 1 night stay. I love the 12pm check out!!!

None of the amenities lusted online were available. One huge one was no shuttle. So paying $13 each way to go 2.3 miles to the airport. No breakfast, and Filthy rooms
