“Very Convenient”
As I was attending a conference at the Conference Center, I was looking for somehting convenient and reasonably priced. This is it! Right by the conference Centre, and with easy access to the rest of the city. Rooms are comfortable, wifi is free, and the breakfast is reasonable. Although the hotel does not have all the facilities of one of the larger hotels in the vicinity, that is not what you want when attending a conference. Certainly I will be considering this hotel for future stays in the city.
“Good choice for convention center”
This is a good value for money, decent, clean hotel close to the city center. The staff are very friendly and the service was excellent. It also had free wifi that mostly worked well. It is a particularly good choice if you are in Philly for an event at the convention center as it is right next door. The only downside really is that it is in a rather drab location surrounded by parking lots. Having said that it didn't seem unsafe and it was still in easy walking distance to the city center.
“love PHILLY”
GREAT STAY, GREAT STAFF, AND GREAT FOOD
“Weekend exploring in Philly”
The hotel was within walking distance of most of the sites we wanted to see. My one gripe would be that it was difficult to find. Address listed is not the same as the actual entrance to the hotel. The is no clear, visible sign, so we ended up circling the block a few times. Otherwise, the small room fit our needs for a short stay in Philiadelphia. Parking is difficult anywhere in the city (especially overnight), so the overnight valet fee seemed reasonable. Overall -- good deal for convenience of location and comfort of room.
“A perfect night's stay!”
Great location, great view, great room, great staff.
“The staff was great.”
The hotel itself was nothing special but it was located close to Reading Terminal Market which has all sorts of food. The room was average although we could tell it needed to be updated. The bathroom had been redone. The AC was old and loud. We looked over a parking lot and beyond that the back of Chinatown's buildings. The price was right compared to some of the other city hotels. It would be a long walk for most attractions so cabs might be an answer. The convention center was very close.
“Average hotel. No frills. Good value.”
Great lounge bartender from Poland.
“within walking distance to electric factory”
no need for a cab..... within walking distance to restaurants & fun
“Decent hotel room for Decent price”
The location of the hotel is good, walking distance to train, shops, restaurants, etc. The room was kind of small, but since there were only 2 of us that was not a big deal, but if we had been traveling with our son there would not have been room for his pack n play in the room. My only real complaints are that parking is super expensive ($24 a night!) and the mattress was firmer than I like (which is unusual because other hotels I have stayed in usually had pillow top or very soft mattresses). I would recommend this if you are looking for a place to sleep, but not spend a lot of time in and don't wanna spend too much.
“Quite satisfied”
We were visiting our daughter at Temple University and this hotel was conveniently located. We were very pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of our room. The bathroom was spotless. We arrived late (9:30 pm) and were starving. We were told the kitchen was already closed but the chef said he would reopen the kitchen for us. We were pleasantly surprised with the meal. No frills, but tasty. Would definitely stay here again.
