“Petoskey”

Nice room. Brochure and pictures in advertising are a little deceiving. Looked like it was sitting much closer to the lake (i.e. lakeside) but was actually on a highway (very busy road) right through town and was across the street from a strip mall/shopping center. Would have liked a location that was closer to the lake and not on such a busy road. Continental breakfast was all carbs. no proteins, and very little fruit (apples only). Air conditioner in the room put out very moldy smelling air so turned it off and opened the sliding glass door. Luckily, it was cool enough outside.

We've stayed at the Apple Tree Inn multiple times over many years, both during "on" and "off" seasons. The service and comfort have been constant and I believe every room offers a view of the bay. We would highly recommend the Inn to others.....

We stayed one night only and found, overall, the hotel comfortable in a homey kind of way. It needs some updating. The rooms are large enough and each has a little balcony with a wonderful view of the water. It's close to shopping and the hospital. Even though it is on a main road it was pretty quiet. We did not use the pool but it looked nice. The little room off the lobby with bisto tables and a lovely little fireplace was a really nice way to start off the day with homemade fresh waffles and an assortment of just about anything you would want for a quick breakfast. The price was very reasonable and we would probably stay there again.
