“Highly Recommended”

After flying direct from San Francisco to Frankfurt, we used the Landgasthof Horwieden for 2 nights to begin a 20 day stay in Germany and France. The staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food (especially the special Spargel Buffet). From the hotel it is a simple 5 minute drive to the center of Fulda and the castle park---definitely worth a visit. We were so comfortable at the Gasthof that we decided to book the hotel again for the final night of our visit. Again, the accomodations and food were perfect for our situation. It is an approximately 1 hour and 20 minute drive from Horwieden to the Frankfurt Airport.
