Thank you for your review Margaret, we are sorry to hear that we were not able to provide a better stay for you during your visit.Our rooms are entirely nonsmoking and we have recently renovated our interiors, so we are pleased to see you enjoyed our hard work! Since it is starting to get cold enough to need the heaters, it's possible that some dust may have settled on the coils over the summer causing the smell that we will make sure to take care of.Again, we apologize your stay was not as wonderful as it should have, and we do hope if you find yourself in the area again you consider giving us a second chance in one of our quieter rooms.

We are sorry to hear that your stay was not as enjoyable as it could have been, and will be reaching out to our pest service provider to check rooms for sugar ants in order to take care of them. While the road can be busy during the busier times of the day, it tends to be much quieter in the evening. We do have a couple rooms that overlook the river for a more quiet and secluded stay, and we would love to welcome you back hopefully in one of those rooms so you can have a much better visit.Thank you again for your review, and we're happy that our staff was able to provide you exceptional service. We unfortunately had to stop doing the homemade quick bread slices during Covid, which we understand many folks miss. We are looking to adding in a way for guests to enjoy more breakfast offerings, such as granola for the yogurt, a toaster for bagels and english muffins, and prepackaged muffins. Hi Julie, thank you so much for your review. We appreciate you letting us know, and noted the door jamb's damage. After looking through our security cameras we saw no suspicious activity outside the door prior to your arrival or the day before but did note a previous guest from the week before being very forceful entering the room, which we believe caused the damage. We have since made fixes to the striker so it is in the doorframe securely, and have already been in the process of getting interior door latches for additional security. We hope that this will help put your mind at ease, but you are always encouraged to call the hotel directly if you need any assistance or have any concerns.
