“A real gem!”

The hotel was a pleasant surprise! The facility was clean comfortable and in a good location. Within a short drive, we were able to park our car and climb the steps into the center of Perugia. The rooftop pool had spectacular views which allowed us to relax and feel like we were sigthseeing at the same time! We enjoyed a simple lunch and beverages while relaxing. The breakfast offered a bounty of choices as well as the perfect setting for our morning meal. I highly recommend this hotel!

When to go
We were there during the Umbrian Jazz Festival. Although this was not the purpose of our visit, we were delighted that when we ascended the steps for dinner, we were surrounded by music! This annual festival takes place every July and lasts 9 days. Perugia is a charming city with lots to offer. Day trips to Assisi and Spoleto are quite easy from this location.

“We loved this hotel!”

The Hotel Perusia was the best hotel we stayed in during our travel in Italy. The double room was so nicely designed that we never felt crowded. The walk to the arch was easy. It was easy to get around the neighborhood. Everyone was very friendly. The restaurant food and service was excellent! The pool was a lovely extra with a great view from the roof. We've already recommended this hotel to friends. My only complaint was that the mini bar wasn't cold but because of the convenient location, it didn't really matter.

Area recommendations
The area right around the hotel and the university were accessible, clean and lovely. Bus transportation was easy as well.

“Nice little hotel near Perugia's centro storico”

Good value. Nearly perfect. Nice roof-top restaurant. Excellent breakfast buffet (included). Due to apparent miscommunication with Expedia, we ended up in the old wing of the hotel. We had a quad and a double room. Although unrenovated, these spacious rooms were still reasonably well upkept. Note that there is a low-power US-format electricity outlet in the bathroom which could prove very useful.

“Excellent Hotel”

My husband and I were in Italy 26 days and stayed at several hotels. Hotel Perusia was one of the best. The room was very large. We were on the 4th floor and had an incredible view of Perugia. The bathroom was also very large. The staff was extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We were concerned that the hotel was too far from the historic city center but it was an easy 10 minute walk. We ate dinner in the hotel's restaurant and the food and service were excellent. We would definitely stay there again. It was by far one of our best hotels as well as one of the best values. There was also free Internet that was fast. The rooftop pool was great--our only hotel with a pool. Hotel Perusia was excellent in every way. My husband and I are teachers and we both give Hotel Perusia an A+

“Comfortable Hotel”

Good size room. Maintenance/Cleaning was very good. About a 10 minute to Perugia center. Free Parking is a plus for us. Very happy with overall service.

“CARMELO63 MASCALI-CT”

buon albergo situato appena fuori dal centro che si poteva raggiungere anche a piedi in una ventina di minuti, anche se la sera la strada per raggiungerlo era buia e deserta, personale gentile e sempre disponibile, ottima la colazione ed all'altezza anche il ristorante dell'hotel.il terrazzo sovrastante l'albergo dove si trovava la piscina, anche se con un ottimo panorama, a volte non veniva valorizzato a dovere in quanto a volte la sera era al buio e quindi non ci si poteva soffermare per godersi un po di fresco ed assaporare qualche drink dato che il bar del terrazzo veniva chiuso presto. tutto sommato se si cerca una vacanza tranquilla e di relax l'albergo è consigliato. mascali 07/09/2011

Vorteil ist der Hoteleigene Parkplatz

da es doch weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt ist, muss man gut zu Fuß sein, Shuttlebus vom Hotel ist von Vorteil, der aber nicht immer zur Verfügung steht.
