“Great hotel, great staff.. parking is a issue”

This is a reat hotel for the proce we paid.. the only problem we had is that there is no parking for the hotel.. you need to pay 8 euro a night at a public parking lot down a hill to park.. BUT this is not possible on Monday nights or tuesday days as there is a public market in the main square and you are not allowed t park there.. So we had to park outside the city wall and walk about 15 minutes.. it was Ok as the weather was good and all otherwise this could be a problem. the hotel was great, clean and rooms were big.. the best was the staff.. the oldergentelman.. speak perfect engish and was the nicest person we met.. He served breakfast as if he made every lil thing by hand and made us feel like we were at his home.. it was just perfect and relaxing... if you are not driving or atleast not arriving on monday evening.. this is the best htel in all of gubbio

the is right in the heart of Gubbio. walk anyhwhere :o)

the Tuesday morning market at the main square is awesome.. my wife picked up some awesome deals!!!
Dining
lots of good restaurant around... and the hotel breakfast is cold breakfast but the staff makes up for it by being really warm :o)

“Un Gattapone in terra d' Umbria”

Desidero esprimere il mio compiacimento per la cortese ospitalità. Mi sono trovato davvero bene, molto bene e non esiterò a segnalare questo hotel a persone amiche e conoscenti. Tutto è stao di mio gradimento, a cominciare dalla eleganza della costruzione, dalla pulizia nelle camere e dalla bellezza delle sale interne come per esempio quella della prima colazione. Inoltre la struttura è collocata in un punto centralissimo della cittadina umbra, assai vicino alla grande piazza dei Quaranta Martiri ed ai principali luoghi di interesse come il Palazzo Ducale e il Palazzo dei Consoli.

Area recommendations
La città di Gubbio è tutta da scoprire !! Quindi qualsiasi punto della cittadina può essere e deve essere di estremo interesse perchè continuamente pervasa di genuinità e di tante piccole cose tuttora difficili da trovare. Che dire, poi, dela sua cucina, del suo modo di mangiare ? Sembra la semplicità fatta persona; dovunque ci si rechi, si troverà sempre un locale, una trattoria, un ristorante capace di soddisfarci con le sue pietanze, le sue carni arrostite insieme ai suoi squisiti condimenti. Non mi resta che augurare a tutti i lettori di queste poche righe UN BUON VIAGGIO e UNA BUONA PERMANENZA a GUBBIO.
When to go
Trovo assai simpatico andarci sotto le feste di Natale o in primavera inoltrata. A me è capitato anche di andarci per l'accensione del "famoso Albero di Natale", il 7 dicembre di ogni anno. Si tratta, come si sa, del più grande albero del mondo con una particolarità che lo differenzia da tutti gli altri.

“Hotel Gattapone albergo centrale nella meravigliosa Gubbio”

Abbiamo passato una notte a Gubbio, l'Hotel è centrale e molto carino e pulito. Quindi ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Da segnalare la gentilizza e l'ospitalità delle persone che ci lavorano.

“Hotel GATTAPONE di Gubbio”

Hotel di buon comfort, bella ristrutturazione, servizio superiore alla media, un pò difficile da raggiungere con l'auto poichè si trova all'interno di zona pedonale, difficoltà di parcheggio.
