Beautiful charming hotel in a great location. I would return. Room was spacious, well appointed with a lovely terrace with amazing view. Person checking us in at front desk did not display any friendliness, no greeting, etc. He must have been having a bad day as everyone else at hotel was amazing. So first impression was that we were putting him out…luckily it was not repeated with other staff. I would gladly return.

This property has an AMAZING view of Assisi. Located around the middle of the town it was an easy walk to the Basilica of St. Francis or the Basilica of Santa Chara. Suggest including breakfast as they have a great spread. We booked this hotel because it had a pool but it is only available if you use the spa or pay 30€. The rooms are a little run down but overall stay was good.

Place is terrible. Breakfast suppose to be included gad to pay. Parking had to pay 20 euro a day. But nowhere is mention about it.. More than London . Avoid this place at all costs

We did not know that we had to reserve parking beforehand. Hence, we had to pay park at a nearby facility at Euro 14 per day. Staff were very friendly, and service was top. Restaurant was excellent in ambience and quality with Antonio and Matteo was helpful and attentive. Concierge Roland was also v friendly

Amazing charm and character in this hotel in Assisi! One of the best meals we’ve ever had, in the restaurant. The breakfast is fantastic and was included. Only one criticism was that the bathroom did not have an electrical outlet. Would HIGHLY recommend this place! But be warned: pushing heavy suitcases up the hill to get there was quite a workout! But better than the 20 euros to take a taxi (bus was 2 euros!)

I adored everything the property offered, the staff are kind, gracious and helpful. I plan to stay here again the next time I’m in Assisi. Did I mention that it’s a short walk from the Basilica of St Francis and other attractions.

We loved staying in Donna Beatrice, the terrace view is spectacular! The staff is amazing as well as location from bus stop. The breakfast was divine with many options available. This was my 2nd time at hotel Giotto and I hope one day to return to the city of peace.

Wonderful staff Great location, amazing dinner , air conditioning was not working , the rooms are very hot , although one of the staff tried hard to bring us a fan but still rooms were very stuffy and hot , beds and pillows are not comfortable at all

Nice hotel if you don't have a car
The hotel is located less than a 10minute walk from the bus station at the basilica. The rooms are nice and clean and the breakfast buffet excellent. Friendly staff that speaks English.

A lovely experience
This hotel is in a great location, easy to get to and with friendly and helpful staff. The excellent breakfast is a wonderful experience as it is served in the most lovely room or terrace with panoramic views. The room itself could benefit from restyling to put the rooms on the same standard as the rest of the beautiful hotel.

Outstanding stay
The hotel facility was very clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed in a room with balcony overlooking the valley and watched the sun set with 2 other adult family members. The hotel opened a bottle of wine for us (conveniently bought from wine store across the street) and provided wine glasses for us. It provided us a private, relaxing and very sweet time together before dinner. Breakfast was located in a besutiful dining room with multiple selections of foods - deliscious! Safety measures for health were observed and made simple by a variety of respectful and helpful servets.

The location is amazing. Breakfast was very nice and the restaurant has a magnificent view. Personnel is friendly and try their best. I did not like the room. It was summer, very hot temperatures, and the AC was not working properly. Very unpleasant night because opening the window did not help. The street was very noisy. Staff tried to help but unfortunately they did not manage to solve the problem.

Great location, very near the churches of St.,Francis. Easy to find. We had a very large room, two bathrooms and a balcony with a breathtaking view. Received a warm welcome at reception and extremely competent service throughout our short stay. I think this is may be family run business - there is a strong feeling of friendliness and pride.
