Pros: Comfort , location, & overall attitude & courtesy of staff.
Cons: Bathroom Cleanliness
Location: close to transport which takes you anywhere,& ferry terminal
Hotel amenities were of high standard, rooms very comfortable, within easy reach of eateries & ferry jetty transport etc. Only complaint, bathroom cleanliness could have been better.

Nice hotel at the edge of the CBD

Posted 12-Mar-2015
The location is very convenient to the CBD and the free buses. The hotel rooms are undergoing renovation and since we were in a pre-renovated room, it is clear the renovation is needed. The bed was fine and the room tired looking but clean. The shower filled up with water when showering and the staff was uninterested in dealing with it. The in-hotel restaurant is to be avoided. It took us over 30 minutes for a simple breakfast menu order filled. I guess they want you to select the over-priced buffet.

Poor quality hotel

Posted 25-Feb-2015
We booked in for a romantic getaway for two nights a week ago. We found the staff friendly on arrival but the room was terrible. Not people to complain and usually happy to please, we found the room to be very standard, probably more on the 3 star level and not worth the money we paid. There were renovations going on and the noise levels were annoying, especially early in the morning. We decided to cut our losses and not stay the second night. Seriously, don't go there. Pauline and Chas.

Hi Pauline & Chas Thank you for your post following your recent stay at Pan Pacific Perth. We are delighted to hear that you found our staff to be friendly; however, we regret to read that you were disappointed with your room. We acknowledge that a selection of our rooms are in need of a refresh and hence, as you've mentioned we have commenced a multi-million dollar refurbishment throughout these rooms that will see them brought up to a high standard. Thank you once again for taking the time to review our hotel and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to Pan Pacific Perth. Best regards General Manager, Pan Pacific Perth

A nightmare

Posted 24-Feb-2015
Pros: The foyer
Cons: Everything!!!!!!!
Location: location is good and swan river nearby
It was our 23rd wedding anniversy so i booked a so called 5 star hotel. Got there at 3 and was told room needed to be checked were asked to take a seat for 10 minutes. 40 minutes my wife went to counter and they suddenly found a room. No apologies for the delay and we might be still sitting there if my wife didnt go up to find out what was going on. The view would have been nice if the wndows were clean but they were fifthy. We had a shower which was in the bath and the water took a long time to drain properly in the bath. I washed my hands in the hand basin and the water wouldnt turn off at all so we rang reception and they sent up a handyman to try and fix it and he couldnt get it to stop so they said we would have to change rooms. We packed up and went to another room and it wasnt much better. The tap in the hand basin just splashed water all over the vanity, the toilet door would close properly, most of the windows and frames were very dirty, the walls had marks all over them. we have stayed in quite a few 4 star hotels and they are so much better than this place. My wife wrote them an email and they havent even had the decency to answer it. Our special day was spoilt because of this place and will never book a 5 star hotel again.
