“Always stay here!”
I have been staying at the Metro Inn South Perth when I come down to Perth from the Pilbara, for many years. It has improved in cleanliness, facilities and standard of the rooms over the years I have been a guest. I found this time though, that although I booked a Non-smoking room and expected that the whole floor would be non-smoking, there was a constant smell of smoke coming from other rooms on the floor and from people standing smoking in the corridor while they waited for the lift etc. Perhaps a certain floor could be reserved for smokers as they are becoming a dying breed (literally!). Also the girl on the reception desk could barely speak or understand English which is very disappointing when the hotel is in Australia. I believe that all employees should be able to speak fluent English in our country, especially when they are representing our country to visitors.

Executive Riverview Room on 9th floor. Great view over the Swan River to the city No coffee table to complement sofa Inadequate lighting over bench sitting area No cups and saucers, only 2 mugs provided No plates No bootle opener No water jug in fridge One-ply tissues and toilet paper No toilet brush Insufficient hooks in bathroom Bedside shelves, ledges and telephone had not been dusted for some time Pleasant restaurant staff and our dinner was enjoyable. Not sure why this room is rated "executive"
“Hotel Perth”
The hotel is in the suburbs and a 10 min drive from Perth CBD, however if you have a car there is plenty of onsite parking.
“Great Hotel”
WE really had a great stay and it was close to the venue we had to a fuction we attended at Bentley. It is also close to the city centre.
